I spent months researching and trying to find a watch that covered my list of must haves; analog & proper time keeping, full numerals, high legibility face & hands, uni-directional rotating bezel, proper luminescence for low light/night use. Add to that the good looks of the blue face and orange accents at a reasonable price point and here we are. It arrived in the substantial Luminox case (with warranty card), which I did appreciate. This was given to me by my beautiful wife for my 40th birthday. This watch fits well feels good on and I love the illumination that luminox is known for. The only “issue” I had was user error- the date was changing at high noon… advance the watch 12 hours and issue resolved. I wish I would have bought this watch years ago instead of the Apple Watch I still have phantom ticks I feel in my wrist but hope that will go away soon! This watched shipped via UPS, and when ordering there was no indication that a signature was required. The first time delivery was attempted, we were not home, so UPS left a note. OK, got it. I stayed home today specifically to wait for the re-delivery. As I'm standing in my car port I notice the UPS delivery van fly by my driveway, making no attempt to stop. OK, I figured the watch was coming later today. I just checked the UPS site and it now says that the delivery was missed, presumably because the drive thought nobody was home (even though the front door was open, cars were in the driveway, and I had my camper open and was working around it). So, a double negative for both the seller, who didn't need to ship this signature required, and for UPS, for not even trying, or giving a damn. Now onto the watch. Once I get it I'm sure it'll be great. I know this because I've owned two of this model and Luminox makes great watches. I only bought a new one because a. it's Black Friday and the seller was offering a great discount and, b. the tritium vials in my old watch have faded to the point where it's hard for me to see them at night (I've had this watch for 7 years, so that's expected). Great product, lousy delivery service. But since I can't comment on the delivery separate from the product, this is my only option. ... show more

I had initially ordered the 38mm in a similar version thinking it would wear better and perhaps being influenced by the current trend toward smaller watches. I ended up returning that one since as a larger guy it looked silly on me. I don't mind a reduced dress watch but smaller sizing doesn't play well on a diver. That being said, this thing is chunky. Quite a bit bigger than I expected. BUT chunky in a good way. This piece looks like it would just as glady punch you in the face as it would tell time and I love that. For a Navy Seal collab. I expect nothing less. Very light on the wrist and feels well made. The quick date change feels a little jank but otherwise tight. Great watch at the price point. ... show more

I have purchased Luminox Watches for the primary purpose of knowing the exact time, at all hours, in a 24 hour time frame, day or night. There is a need for a battery replacement within every 2 to 3 years, but you will always know the time of day or night it is, as long as the battery is operating satisfactory. I have not found that to be a true capability with any of the other watches that I have purchased in my lifetime and I have tried several different brands. ... show more
