Luminara candles are the very best realistic, battery operated candles on the market! They have candles for every occasion and I personally have only been buying Luminara candles over the past several years. Yes, some people believe they are pricey, however, you get what you pay for. These are high end candles that last year after year. You can buy a remote or simply use the timer button on the bottom of the candle for to set it for five hours on and it will automatically turn off (it will stay on the same schedule every day, without having to reset again unless you choose to adjust it). . The heavy wax candle is very nice and gives that nostalgic candle look…I liked it so much, I decided to order another one. On a side note, I have bought my young niece’s (ages 6 and 10) Luminara candles and they absolutely love them! Not only do you get the ambiance, but they are worry free, as there is no flame. This candle is too risky to buy, especially at its price. I bought 2 candles in January and 1 works fine, but the other is defective. By March it started running about 2 hours and then turns itself off. I have tried fresh batteries numerous times. I would not recommend this candle.
