I love this pillow! I recently had a back injury; it's said to be a disc/muscular injury accompanied by spasms. I'm a back sleeper and read that my lower back should be supported with a lumbar pillow. I started using this pillow and I feel like it has been helpful during the healing process of my back. I feel like it's given me some nice support without being too much or too little. It's not a super huge bulging pillow and it's not paper thin, it's a nice medium low and flexible. Nice lower back support pillow

I've been having lower back pain for a few years, some times are worse than others. I hoping this would give more support than a rolled up towel I had been using. I like the cooling gel and the support the pillow gives, but it is less comfortable lying on your side than on your back. While the pillow itself is in a case, the case has the gel built it so you can't wash it easily. Overall, it's a nice back pillow and is well-made, but I don't think it does a better job than the rolled up towel (my back is still a little sore when I wake up in the mornings with both options).

It's comfortable, the gel has a nice cooling sensation, and my back felt better after sleeping with it. It was initially uncomfortable to sleep with, but the instructions said that was to be expected, and now it doesn't bother me. I also like that I can not only sleep in bed on it, but also place it on the couch, in a chair, etc. Overall a solid purchase to try out if you're having lower back pain
