These boots are very well made. They seem built to last. Great for work boots or just to wear out on the town. They are kinda heavy, but they look nice. Very solid construction. Not the most comfortable boots, so premium insoles are probably going to be very helpful and then they will be great. Excellent tread and soles and seem very rugged, without sacrificing nice looks. Actually, they are great looking boots and since they are made to last, it's totally worth the money for them because they are likely worth $100, and adding some insoles isn't too much extra to pay for the added comfort. I would recommend to a friend. Lugz are very popular because of their fashionable style, but they also perform like work boots should. ... show more

These boots fit and feel great. The simple design in black isn't flashy or overly complicated in style; just lace them up and go! Steel toe is a plus for work situations, but around here they'll work great for clearing ice.

    • Comfortable but the eyelets come loose easily...

For the price they are a decent non-slip steel-toed boot. Very comfortable. My only two issues are the eyelets are not well-installed, and very thin laces (I replaced them with Kevlar Boot Laces the day they arrived...the laces are so thin they are what one would usually see on baby shoes, not good for work boots worn daily). But in general for the price, they are not bad boots and should last about a year which is decent for a pair of daily worn work boots. ... show more

Bought these for a friend of mine who got a new job. He's on his feet a lot but it's not super strenuous. These shoes fell apart very quickly. They looked really nice when he got them, but had a hole in less than a month. As we couldn't afford another pair of boots he glued them back together. Then the whole front fell apart and he glued and taped that back together. Then the whole back fell apart and now he's missing out on hours at work because he can't work without boots. ... show more
