Locks failed after first attempt to set. No generic type of item will open as the instructions state. Useless as far as security goes. Amazon should stop selling this junk.

NOT just any item in the lock mechanism willmopen the case. DONT BUY THESE AND AMAZON SHOULD STOP SELLING THIS JUNK!!
    • Nice looking hardside luggage, with equally nice features.
- [ ] I ordered this piece of luggage to take on an extended weekend trip, and as luck would have it…it arrived the day after we left. I love the color (Solace) which was referred to as purple when I ordered it, but my eyes see it more as a combination of light blue, grey and silver. That said, the hardside suitcase I received is true to the color that’s shown online. I really liked some of the features of this hardshell carry-on, like expandability, 4 spinner wheels, being light-weight, TSA approved locks and a variety of interior zippered pockets. The zippers, interior and exterior, all move smoothly and easily. I’ve heard 4 spinner wheels is best, and these all roll smoothly. The telescoping handle moves up and down easily, but it’s not the most stable I’ve ever felt. Overall, the quality of this Luggex 20”carry-on seems to be good, but the real test would be to take it on a long trip or a flight. I have an upcoming intrastate trip planned in a few weeks, so I’ll make a point to update my review if there is anything exceptionally great or negative to report. ... show more

I selected this luggage for traveling to short trips. It is very durable and I love that it has spinning wheels tht rotate in all directions. It fits perfectly in the overhead bin and I would recommend for anyone who does traveling and needs to be able to fit everything in one suitcase.

I purchased this case for a business partner who was wandering airports with his grandma's paisley carpet-bag-esqe case that looked as old as him (perhaps older). The first thing he did after getting over his surprise was tell me how this bag makes him feel "like a grown-up who actually knows how to travel in an airport". The case has been great for cross country flights in overhead bins. It rolls well, the handle is easy to extend/retract while maintaining it's strength, the shell is durable, and the zippers seem like they will last with continued use.
