The quality of sound these earbuds produce is truly amazing! Initially, I faced some difficulty trying to fit the "memory foam" tips into my ears and resorted to using smaller plastic tips. However, this was a mistake as the plastic tips did not complement the earbuds and produced a shrill and bright sound. I then remembered the old earplugs that could be rolled in the fingers to fit and expand in the ears, and so I switched back to the "memory foam" tips. The difference was staggering! Though these earbuds do not completely cancel out background noise, the "memory foam" earplug-type tips do a great job of reducing it. Being quite particular about sound quality, I was initially skeptical about these earbuds but they have definitely exceeded my expectations. I even tested the microphone, and it produced clear and excellent sound. Compared to my previous Apple earbuds that I had been using for years, these earbuds offer a better stereo field, bass, and microphone quality. They also have a higher output than the Apple wired earbuds. I will add that they aren't quite as comfortable as the Apple earbuds and I think it is due to the "memory-foam" tips expanding and pressing against the inside of my ears. I bought this for work meetings and it offers great audio and no complaints from other meeting participants that I’m cutting in & out (I’ve tried several ear buds & head sets). The cord is a few inches longer than standard so works when plugged into the laptop or dock on my desk but I raise the platform to stand (entire desk doesn’t raise). So that works for the cord length for me. I like the bright color (I chose orange) so other people in the office can tell immediately that I’m plugged in. One thing I did not account for is that I can’t hear myself speak, so it sounds like I’m talking thru a tunnel or I sound muffled to myself. So, I remove one ear bud slightly so I can hear myself clearly. That may not be an issue for some but I’ve used head sets and Apple earphones and neither noise-cancelling so I’m used to hearing myself. Overall happy with the quality & sound. ... show more

I have purchased several sets of these earphones. The cord is textured and pleasantly soft. When the cords flex, they don't add external noise to the audio I want to hear, as others often do. Problems: after wearing them daily, the only problem that develops is that one earphone's inner wire will occasionally break, or otherwise quit working. When that happens, I will clip the nonworking cord, and just have one earpiece. I'd rather have one Ludos earpiece than two of many other brands. I wish there was a way to wrap the cords for storage without using a cloth pouch, because I think the cord wrapping I do is causing the cord failure. I loved that this was carefully packaged with a handwritten note from the small business! I purchased the pink color and it is beautiful and cute. It comes with a nice and small velvet drawstring bag to keep your wired earbuds in it. The foam cushion on the earbuds are very comfortable and although it doesn't come with replacement foam cushions, it comes with the rubber replacements. It is of great quality and not made of cheap rubbers/wires/metal (not easily tangled or bent, earbud piece is a nice metal-ish material). Overall, it works really well for any needs and does it's job for the price! I look forward to more of Ludos' future products! I do wish the volume and microphone piece had a "+/-" option (where the volume can adjust when you press on it several times) and not just a "+/-" slider where you can only set it "HIGH - MEDIUM - MUTE". You would have to use your phone or device's volume control if the earbud's volume doesn't meet your volume level. This was one of the features I was not fond of. ... show more

Well I'm not sure if this is normal but when you hit the mute button the person on the other end hears a very loud click, and on top of that, in order to keep muted you have to keep hold of the mute button. I got this to replace old ear buds that I lost, which did have a proper mute button, and it didn't click when pressing mute either. So, not sure what to think of this one. They are cute and they sound good (though not sure if that means much coming from me, as I'm hard of hearing, so take that as you will). I will probably get something else later down the road, but for now I'm at least happy with how they sound and just use my phone to toggle mute manually instead of using the built-in mute button on this headset. ... show more

Totally worth the price point. These ear buds have lasted longer than any cheap version I've bought. Sound quality is average, but these are indestructible! Also has magnets that attach each ear bud, the volume adjuster is sensitive. But overall, I will purchase these again.

I was looking for some affordable yet good sounding headphones and I made the right choice! I bought the pink color ones. They do sound great and it cancels the noise. I loved that it has magnets so the headphones don't tangle they came nicely packed and to my surprise a hand written thank you note.
