We have a very finicky girl with a tummy that just won't stop grumbling. Despite the vet's saying repeatedly that a limited ingredient or grain-free diet is "not necessarily good for dogs" the facts don't lie - grain + chicken makes her tummy emit horrible noises! No grain stopped it, no chicken product made it even better. We loved this while members at costco, but couldn't afford to keep the membership, so thankfully amazon sells it! We alternate between the Beef & the Salmon (blue bag) versions. Both our dogs (mixed breeds at 6 yrs & 2 yrs, 50-ish lb dogs) love this food & have great check-ups! ... show more

We had a dog trainer recommend Salmon flavor. It made our black and tan coonhound put out a very strong fishy smell through her coat oil. After completing a transition to beef, the smell magically went away.

The product is great, the shipping was great. The cost is double that of a local box store. I can't justify buying on line again even if it is more convenient. I could have purchased 2 bags for what I paid for one. Live and learn.
