I got this to use as my office chair in my studio, because I needed something low profile, comfortable, that rocked (I tend to work either reclining or perched on the edge of my seat, nothing in between), and it needed to be pretty and serve as a regular sitting chair for when I’m not working (I didn’t want a big, ugly executive office chair). I don’t have enough space for two chairs, so this had to be it. Plus it needed to be sturdy and wide with a solid weight load, because I’m a big girl with a big butt. Well the good news is, this chair checks everything off my list, and then some! I like the high back for reclining, the upholstery is tightly woven so may cat hasn’t clawed it up, and it rocks smoothly. Cushions are fairly firm, but I personally like that.     • Great Price for Mid-Century Style Rocker

I first saw this chair on Overstock.com, had it in the cart and was ready to order when I saw that shipping would take 3 weeks. Thought I'd check Amazon on the off chance they'd have it and they did--and for $70 less! It delivered 4 days after I ordered it. Love the design and size of the chair, it's very roomy for grown-up bodies, unlike many chairs now available (I'm not understanding the penchant for narrow seats, I like to relax in a chair, especially a rocking chair). Assembly was relatively quick, just had some trouble getting the cams in the front stretcher bar to line up correctly with the screws. The problem turned out to be "crumbs" left in the cam holes from a sloppy drill job. Screws finally went into place after I scraped out the crumbs with a screwdriver so the cams would seat properly. I do with that the back was at a slightly more upright angle for reading. But the positionable headrest is genius! I like that the cover is removable and washable. I don't like that the chair would need to be disassembled to remove it! Overall tho, a very nice, roomy and comfortable take on a mid-century design. And you really can't beat the price at $219. I'm thinking about ordering the companion armchair. ... show more

I was excited to purchase this chair after searching for weeks for the right one. When going to assemble the chair the holes were drilled incorrectly and it was IMPOSSIBLE to attach the arms to the cushions. I asked the seller to send a return and was told to 'take pictures'. I responded back immediately to inform them I had already sent them pictures of the problem. Seven days went by with zero response so I submitted a claim to Amazon to be reimbursed. The seller immediately responded, saying they would send me a return label, and asked me to take back the claim. Seller received this item THREE days ago and has yet to issue me a refund; nor is it listed as returned even though I have the shipping company proof of delivery. So now I have no chair and no refund. This has been the absolute WORST experience and I would never recommend this item/seller to anyone. ... show more
