I bought the large house with door to use for my 3 ducks. It is perfect for that purpose. All necessary parts are included and it went together nicely. I was initially upset when the house was delivered because the door wasn't included but it arrived in a separate package the next morning. Both packages actually arrived several days ahead of the listed arrival date. The house is surprisingly sturdy considering it is all plastic. The various parts snap together and are then reinforced with screws. A screwdriver is included. It is the perfect size for my 3 large ducks. They have plenty of room to spread out and nest if they want although they like to snuggle together in one corner. I like the added security of the wire door to keep predators out at night. These came with doors which I think the seller purchases separate and ships with the houses. The large is too big for my husky, I definitely should have went with a medium. The four inch base is good especially if they are out in the open and exposed to rain. All and all not bad.

This is a good house for ducks b/c there’s just a gentle slope to get inside, ducks hate ramps. I got the biggest one for my six juvenile ducks and they all have plenty of room in there. I’ve bought wooden chicken coops and dog houses for the ducks in the past, but this is much better. Pro tips: if it’s going outside, assemble it outside! The XL size won’t fit through the doorway assembled. If you are using it for ducks or chickens zip tie some cardboard or plastic to the door to create a solid door. This dog house is made out of blown plastic mold that is very thin and very flimsy. There just isn’t any value in purchasing a dog House of this type. I’m going back to igloo dog houses, they’re way more sturdier, and the quality is way better!

Received the dog house and then the gate the next day. Put it together - relatively easy with instructions but is a 2 person job to hold and screw. Makes a nice plastic house. We use ours for our duck housing. Lock them up at night. Because it is plastic it washes easily daily. Ducks have plenty of room and do not have a problem walking right in at night. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The cage/ house is great alone, but I did order with the door and didn’t receive it. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. I’m hoping I get a door shipped to me or maybe just a refund for the difference of the house with versus without a door so $20 then I will have to just buy the door separately. This is the perfect set up for my basenji. She is a ninja escape artist and will try to chew or squeeze her way out of anything when she is anxious. She loves the house. It's a bit on the large size for her, and the pitched roof was a bit much, but those are minor details. It's designed in such a way that she can't get her mouth around much of the plastic but she still has good ventilation and able to see out of it. There was more assembly than I expected but it was pretty easy to figure it out. The only thing that frustrates me are the feet that go under the house, they don't click in place and when you try to move it (even sliding it) they come off very easily. Unfortunately, without them the floor can be a bit flexible, so I need to have them to distribute the weight. ... show more
