Features

  • Waterproof : The portable fish finder is waterproof in rains. No need to worry the splashes makes the display damaged any more. Even though the portable fish finder dropped into the river or lake, the fish finder would be floating on the water surface. You just need to put the handheld fish finder in open air after fishing to avoid water vapor generated inside display because of the temperature differences.
  • Water Depth & Fish Location : You can easily get to know the water depth when the sonar transducer fully in the water. If you attached the sonar transducer to the hull your boat or kayak, you will know the water depth distribution of a specific area when the boat or kayak is moving. It will be easier to find a good position for fishing. Meanwhile, you could also know the approximate fish location and fish size by the portable fish finder display.
  • Stable Sonar Transducer : The sonar transducer of the portable fish finder is working stable and reliable both in freshwater and saltwater. It offers a 45 beam angle underwater in 200Khz which supports maximum 328ft/100m water depth detection. There is a 25ft/7.62m extension cable and an anti-fish bite plastic float comes with the sonar transducer. The portable fish finder is USB rechargeable by a built-in lithium battery.
  • Data Display : The fish finder displays water depth and temperature on the left top. The measurement unit can be freely changed in FT/M and F/C. Besides water depth and fish location, you can also choose a particular underwater area to watch the size and location of the fishes.
  • Ideal for Fishing : LUCKY waterproof fish finder is widely applied in ice fishing, kayak fishing, boat fishing and bank fishing. The portable fish finder can be working for 5~6 hours continuously after fully charged. Once the battery save mode is turned on, it could be working even longer than 10 hours.

  • Works well within its design specifications
I wanted a fish locator that was compact, lightweight, portable, didn't require an expensiver or heavy separate battery, & didn't cost a fortune. Top of the line locators (with GPS & cameras & all the toots and whistles) all require 12-volt batteries. In a big fishing boat, you just hook them into the boat's electrical system. But who wants to carry a 40 pound battery in a small boat or canoe (or to spend over $100 for a "lightweight" 8 pound battery designed by the top manufacturers)? So far, my Lucky Model Y2020-CT does its job: accurate depth to bottom (or bottom's weed cover), depth of schools of fish between the boat and the bottom, guestimate of water temperature, hands free use (it does have a wire from the unit hanging around my neck on a lanyard & the transducer that's over the side of the boat). You really do need to read the manual, & you should really check out online video reviews that describe its limitations. I find that it's a great addition for those of us who don't sink a ton of money into their tackle & fishing equipment. ... show more

  • Great product for great price Great product for great price
Product worked great used it for icefishing and it got me on fish everytime, and depths were accurate as to where the fish were in the water, and I like the fact it is rechargeable so you don't have to buy batteries

  • Great fish/depth finder
This is a neat, compact fishing tool. Running wires for a fish/depth finder was not going to be easy in my boat, so I was looking for something more portable and easy to set up. This fit the bill and with a decent price. I also bought a clamp to put the transducer on my trolling motor rather than it just be floating because I move while fishing. This worked perfectly for me and was a good way to know depth of the water where I was trolling. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a portable fish/depth finder. ... show more

  • Good customer service and refund.
This past Fall I purchased the Yellow $39 LuckyLaker depth and fish finder model that was not waterproof. It worked fine with no problems at all. However, it stopped functioning after I started using it in salt water. Salt is really hard on things. I was attempting to use this more expensive waterproof unit the same way on my tri-Hull kayak . I had altered my kayak to accept the transducer. With this unit I could mount the transducer in same scupper hole because the transducer was the same size as the less expensive model. In order to do that I had to remove the yellow float. In the process the yellow plastic float was destroyed. I also removed the bracket on the transducer so it would fit in the scupper hole. However, everything else was undamaged and worker. BUT not very well! For whatever reason this more expensive unit could not find and maintain a hold on the bottom. It was constantly giving false bottom readings. I adjusted the sensitivity all the way down to one, its lowest setting. That seemed to help. Sill, only occasionally would give the correct bottom reading. When it did, it would only last for a few seconds until it started searching again. I fish in the Bay Waters of Ocean City Maryland. I chose this more expensive unit because of it being waterproof and usable in salt water. The units itself was made very well, had nice color display and appeared to be water and salt proof. The bottom here is sand and should be easy to read. The deepest spots are only about 20 ft. Mostly it's between 5 and 10 ft where I fish. However, this unit was consistently giving readings of 60, 70, 85, 95 sometimes over 100 ft. I figured the signal must be so strong that it was echoing off the bottom of the kayak. Hence those high readings. That's why I turned the sensitivity all the way down. When that didn't completely fix the problem, I was thoroughly disappointed. I don't know why but that problem never happened at all with the cheaper unit. I spent two whole days mounting and trying to make this fit in my kayak. I REALLY wanted it to work! However, it just would not give accurate bottom readings. So I returned the unit even though I had altered the transducer somewhat and destroyed the float. I read that if there was damage that it may be a partial refund. I understood that and that's what I was hoping for. To my surprise and delight, I was given a full refund. Although I was unhappy with the unit I was very happy with the way they refunded me. ... show more

  • Good fishfinder for a boat can’t wait to try it on the ice
Works great once I got it set up for my fishing trip in Canada we started marking tons of fish and actually caught over 100 fish in one day. The only thing I wish is that it had speed control from your boat on it

  • Run far away from this product
Mine lasted about 7 uses. The first few times of use I could not have been happier with the product. Simple, worked great, price, ect.... After one of its last uses I could see a tiny bit of moisture under the display. I let the unit air dry for a few days figuring the moisture would dissapear before the next use. It did not. The next use half of the screen went black. The unit was dried out again and on its last use the screen was 90% black. The unit is advertised as waterproof. It is anything but waterproof. Mine was never directly placed in water or neglectfully damaged in anyway. The unit was always in my lap and only dripped on occasionally from standard kayak paddle usage. I sent a note and a picture to the Lucky home office to hopefully replace the display for free or a substantial discount. After a couple days somebody responded. They claimed the internal screen damage was external damage. They also saw a spot or smudge on the case from a previous water droplet and claimed this was damage. I then looked at my unit for the same spot and with the stroke of a finger it wiped away. They offered me a new unit to be shipped direct from China at a $50 discounted price. Guess what. The "discounted" price is the same price I paid new here on Amazon. Laughable customer service. Do not buy this item for its waterproof capabilities. ... show more
