  • Excellent quality for the money
Size: 42 INCH Color: Dark Silver
This crate is super easy to set up, made of high quality materials, and was very reasonably priced.

  • Sturdy construction - missing a threaded hole to secure latch
Size: 42 INCH Color: Dark Silver
I like how well it seems to be made but there is a missing threaded hole so I can't screw the bolt in to secure the latch. I've contacted the vendor via email provided on the card that came with the crate. I'm still waiting back to hear confirmation that they're going to send me a threaded hole to repair this crate. Update to this review. I changed my rating from three stars to five stars because the customer service was excellent and they were able to send me the threaded hole and tools I needed to repair the missing part. This crate is very well made and exactly what I needed for my Border collie that is an escape artist. ... show more

  • Lifesaver for big and anxious bully breeds
Size: 38 INCH Color: Silver
I've had this crate for about 3 years now and have only just now gotten to reviewing it because I was in the process of getting a new bed for it! I love this thing. Short review: yes it's strong, yes it's sturdy, and yes, it's great for anxious and large dogs. I haven't had any issues with the latches, and it's built in a way that makes it hard for the dog to hurt themself on, even if they try tearing it up. I don't remember how hard or easy it was to set up, but I did it on my own using the instructions and I don't think I had issues with it. Long review: I have a dense and strong pitty/GSD mix who I adopted during lockdown. He used to have a metal wire crate, but one day when we were testing out leaving him on his own (I went to run errands, my partner was taking a shower) he tore the thing apart. It was a crate that survived 10 years of my mom's lab/pit mix, and he warped it within 15 minutes (see first picture.) In order to keep him from hurting himself, I ended up researching and buying this crate. He adores this thing, and so do I. It's survived separation anxiety for anything from 1 hour to a full 4-5 hours. He prefers sleeping in it to sleeping on my bed. It's his safe space! He looks a little nervous in the second picture, but that's because I gave him a bully stick and he's anxious to go eat it but I made him pose for the picture first. Also, it's worth noting that on top of the crate in that picture is my 20 lbs weighted blanket, among other things, and it's not even making a dent in the bars. My only qualm with it is that it's a bit smaller on the inside than it is on the outside, due to the thickness of the bars. But that's a small price to pay for a happy space for my dog. ... show more

  • definitely recommend
Size: 42 INCH Color: Dark Silver
I have a pitbull (around 60 pounds) with separation anxiety who had DESTROYED a metal wire frame crate; and hurt himself in the process of trying to break out. It was causing me a lot of distress worrying about if he was going to hurt himself again, so I went searching for a good crate. I call this his jail cell on wheels because it kind of looks like one, but I do not care because it works! He is so much less anxious going into the crate and despite pawing and biting at it, he has not gotten out, harmed the crate, or himself. I would seriously recommend this to anyone with a dog who was tried to break out or has successfully broken out, has a dog with anxiety, or just wants to be sure their dog is safe in their kennel. It is sturdy and appears it will hold up over time. It was easy to assemble, but it is very heavy and takes two people to put it together. Once it's together, it's very easy to move around and the wheels have great breaks and it doesn't move around when locked. ... show more

  • Prisoner 626
Size: 46 INCH Color: Dark Silver
Got this for our beauty of a Saint Bernard. She is 135lb and fits in here great (48" size). Likes: - Putting it together was easy but you can't screw it in all of the way in some spots or the door won't close properly. (Not a big deal) - it is strong enough for when she paws at the walls Dislikes: - the door latches in two spots and they are not the sturdiest. If we don't use the little screws to tighten it they will bend from her leaning on the door. - I hate tightening the screws because one is already rusty, so it is noisy. - I wish it came with an option for an inner pan for occasions where they can't have a bed. It is a little difficult for them to get comfortable on just the bar floor. So we always have a bed in there. We referred to our dog as a prisoner the first 2 weeks and only fed her through the feeding door. It was fairly comical. ... show more

  • Yes, yes and then yes again.
Size: 37.5"L x 25.5"W x 32.0"H Color: Dark Silver
We adopted an 11 month old pitbull. We hadn't met him before the adoption and they said he has some anxiety. I was thinking worst case scenario so I bought this crate. It is rather large and takes up a lot of room, but I do not regret my decision at all. It's roomy, there is no way he can escape from this and it's extremely sturdy. But it is definitely an at home crate unless you're going somewhere for an extended period of time; you'll need another travel crate. We learned he has no anxiety and loves his crate so we could have probably went with a cheapy, but I know he's safe in here and it's not noisy when he moves around. ... show more
