He’s an indoor cat who stares longingly out the window when we’re on the back patio, so I bought this enclosure to let him safely enjoy being outside with us. He absolutely loves it. He races through the tunnel, and we often put his bed inside so he can relax and enjoy the fresh air without any risk of running off. I was concerned the mesh wouldn’t hold up, but even when he’s scratched at it, it hasn’t been damaged. When he does scratch, we take that as a sign he’s ready to come back inside. The size is perfect—roomy enough for play without taking over the patio—and it’s incredibly quick to set up and take down. We even use it indoors sometimes when we’ll be out for a few hours. We’ve had it for months now, and it’s still in great shape. For the price, the quality has exceeded my expectations, and both my cat and I couldn’t be happier.

The media could not be loaded. I use this for our kitten on our third story balcony. I worry he would try and jump on our railing and get hurt, he can be quite skittish when loud sounds are happening. I was able to use the ties on the tunnel to secure it to the balcony railing. He has used it every day for months and we haven’t had issues with the netting, even when he’s chasing bugs. It dries very quickly and gives him a sense of security. It also gives him the freedom to be outside when we aren’t able to sit out there. If you think you’re cat would like to be outside give this a try! Edit: We got a second kitten who also loves to use the tunnel. However this meant they couldn't be closed in together because they would fight, but they also didn't want to be in it alone. This led to us propping the door open with the tent smashed between the door and the frame with a box on top to stop jumping. This solution did not last long because they would shift the tent when they sprint in and out. Our older cat ended up on the ledge of the building that is thinner than his body. We have now bought the extension bits, the two little houses and another tunnel, so we can hopefully thread it all through a screen door insert that has a cat door. The extension doesn't fit together pefectly, one of the tunnels has to be very twisted for it all to be connected. The original tent has held up through all weather and is great for one cat, I wouldn't recommend it for multiple cat households though.

I got this as a playpen to provide a safe enclosure for an energetic new kitten to socialize with everyone (humans and older cats) in the living room. It is absolutely perfect for that. The main space has lots of room for toys, blankets, and dishes with plenty of zoom and pounce clearance, and the little tunnel lets her run and explore without feeling confined. The mesh is sturdy and see-through which enables the older cats in the house to investigate and even play with the baby but not get at the coveted kitten food. The structure pops right back into place when one of the bigger cats jumps on it and the zippers are all smooth and easy to manipulate with a squirming kitty in one hand. Bottom mat seems waterproof too, which helps for cleaning up spills or kitten accidents. It's not for small spaces even with the tunnel detached, but that just means there's plenty of space for the kitten to run off her energy without worrying about her getting lost or hurt.

With no notice I inherited a feral cat recovering from leg surgery, who needed to be contained for 8 weeks. I bought two of these spur of the moment based on reviews and fastest delivery time. I've been pleasantly surprised. I've taken both of mine and linked them together (later on I added on two more of a different model from the same manufacturer). They're good, but not perfect, hence the once star deduction. Like others, I had problems with the zipper on one. Within 20 uses it failed (zipper wouldn't hold together). Also the tube zippers don't zip at the same place so I have a slight twist when connecting two pens. The mesh is sturdy enough but if the cat wants out it won't hold up too long. I haven't tried folding it up yet but I can see where it might be a little challenging to figure out. But, the cat has been living in it for over 7 weeks so far and it's holding up pretty well.

Simply essential when raising kittens! We adopted 2 at 8 weeks old and this has kept them safe when we have to step away and allows them space to play. They like to be in it with some toys. It’s easy to assemble. Zippers are sturdy and function well. It may be a little large for small rooms, but they won’t use it forever. Whole-heartedly recommend. Best purchase we made for our little maniacs.

I re-purchased a second one because the zipper on top came apart. The same thing happened with the second one so rather than spend another $40, I’m using the zipper part on the tunnel to get them in and out, but it’s tough and frustrating and back breaking. I note that the zipper on the tunnel part is much stronger than the zipper on top. I think it’s a design flaw because the zipper should be the same on the top as it is on the tunnel, I love the whole idea of it and the concept and the cats love it! It’s just the zipper is not very well-made at all, and the stitching is very weak.
