I had a topper that was too soft. When I read the reviews on this one I was skeptical. I ordered it anyway, based on some of the better reviews and I am very pleased with this product. My back is fused and I needed it to work. After it had its first 48 hours to do what it was supposed to, I got the best night of sleep I have had in a long time. I’m glad I bought it. My back is feeling much better. I’m sleeping better. The topper is firm , but not too firm. As far as temperature goes, I tried a nice topper mattress cover, but ended up removing it. Because the cooling gel seemed to be hindered . I find this mattress topper to be a comfortable temperature all on it on. I have not been disappointed, it’s definitely worth every penny I paid for it just for the sleep. My back is getting supported the way I need. The media could not be loaded. waited to write this to see how it holds up. One month in sleeping on this thing and I def get good sleep. I am a side sleeper so I usually sleep with a pillow between my legs or else I got lower back/hip problems. This has always been a must for me. On this thing I don’t need that pillow at all. I gues it distributes my weight well enough to not need the extra pillow. At first I though it’d be way too soft upon opening it up but it has worked out for me and my sleep. I put this on an already memory foam bed and it’s been doing well. My bf has a possible sciatica problem so I may update this once he gets nights on it. Because of how soft and I guess absorbent it is, I do feel like it sucks me in when I try to get up and out of bed. My bed sits lower to the ground and I’m 5’1 under 140lbs so it could be different for taller beds. I am ok with this! I let it fill up for about 24 hrs before sleeping on it. There was a lavender smell that I did enjoy but it had since gone away. Most people claim it to rip early on so I got the cover in hopes to prevent that. One month in I haven’t noticed rips and also my pet is not allowed on this for that reason JIC. My video shows me struggling to zip up but it’s not difficult at all. Also, the cover did come in separately from the topper. Only giving 4 stars because I want to see how it does long term. ... show more
