I read most of the reviews before I buy this 4” topper infused with lavender scents! Most of the complaints from other buyers feels like that mayb some misunderstanding! At first I thought it’s $115 topper. And WOW when I placed my order at checkout they offered $20 off, I was so happy! Complaints from other buyers 1. People complain about that once they took it out, the topper cracked already? It’s most likely they forced to pull open the folded unexpanded topper open and tore it apart! My advice would be just taking the plastic package off and let it breath dun even try to spread it open! The “READ BEFORE OPENING” stated so clearly that toppers need 48 hours for expansion! Just take off the package and leave it alone! 2. The topper breaks in the long run? Actually, I got the similar cooling topper from another company for a higher price, it still got the same problem. So this time, I placed a separate order of a waterproof mattress encasement with a zipper, so I can put my mattress and topper in that case to decrease the friction between Mattress, topper and sheets! These covers also protect against allergens, dust mites, bacteria, perspiration, urine and fluids. That would be a good investment, I guess! 3. The lavender scents too strong? Same magic can fix this problem! Put the mattress encasement on the topper and mattress so the scent won’t be too strong! And it would come out slowly and last longer! 4. Back pain getting worse after using this topper? Mattress can’t help all kinds of back pain.... I’m a massage therapist, I worked at chiropractic doctor office b4, I can tell you that different type of back pain needs a different style of mattress & pillows. But to me, I got tight shoulders, numbing hand problems, so this mattress is soft enough to help me not to compress my shoulder while I’m sleeping on the sideline! If you have questions for the firmness of the topper/mattress, I believe the customer service staffs of this company would willing to answer and suggest the right one for u! 5. The mattress Absorbs heats and it’s hot? Actually, this company is not promoting the Mattress can cool you down, they just compare it to the old style foam topper/mattress say this one is cooler THAN the old fashioned one! If you really need cooling effects I would suggest u to buy the cooling gel infused one! I love Lucid products, I got 2 mattresses and one topper over the last couple years from them! They are not the top line not the best quality! But These are greater valued products with the affordable price! And yes, as you can see I was bored while I’m waiting for my topper to expand That’s why I’m writing a long-axx review for everyone!     • Extremely Comfortable - Big People Friendly!

I have had mines for over 3 years at the time of this writing. Out the box the lavender smell was potent but over time it dissipated and went away completely over the course of a few months. It did not bother me much and the smell made my Man Cave smell better than what it was. Bonus points! The topper inflated rather quickly but I waited 24 hours to use it and when I did...WHEW! Night and Day difference to the bed I had at the time. It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I stopped tossing and turning during the night and with my CPAP I sleep so good! People who have sat on my bed immediately wanted to take a nap. It is so comfortable! It can be somewhat difficult to move because it is a very thick topper (Mines was 4 inches) but you get use to it. You also will have to get bed sheets that can accommodate the thickness. Over time this will break down. I am a morbidly obese person (550+ pounds) and I am surprised this topper held up this long. The topper hasn't flattened out but it is breaking apart. The holes are where the breaks started and mines is almost split in two parts. Mines also started to discolor because I sleep hot and sweat. Because it is foam I did not expect it to last as long as it did but I only sleep in my bed and lounge in my computer chair. This was supposed to be a short term solution until I move and get a new bed. I did move and get a new bed and I put this topper on top and it feels amazing. I will have to throw mines away soon and I will be upset as it has been very good to me and my fat. If you are looking to buy this don't expect this to be a long term solution. If your bed is uncomfortable you will probably need to get a new bed. I am giving it high marks because it has been so good to me and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a foam topper. ... show more

Opened it up and it was ultra flat, the instructions stated to wait 48 hours to unflatten and surprisingly it did get to full height after two full days out of the box. No dents, damage or any problems. I got the 4 inch model with a cover and the cover is really actually nice, super soft and fits the topper perfectly. And I super recommend getting the cover with this topper. I went from a much softer topper so at first I was a little bit put off by the increase in firmness (it’s still really soft). The extra density actually really helped improve my sleep and my back already feels way better after about two weeks. The lavender smell isn’t super strong but is mildly present. I was actually really surprised how good it smelled and thought it would be way more overpowering but it works really well and isn’t overbearing. Only very minor gripes are it is a bit on the firmer side and the topper does tend to slide off the mattress after a few nights. These are super minor gripes and I definitely think the positives outweigh any of my perceived negatives. Overall this thing is really stankin good. Decently priced, super comfy and smells really good. I’ve had really good sleep with it and highly recommend this topper. ... show more

I really like this mattress pad and it certainly is a better value than a whole mattress that costs tons more. I just couldn’t get past a couple issues regarding the ability to move around or get in and out of. You can’t slide and it’s difficult to turn over because you sink down into it. Having said that, once you find your spot, your body is so relaxed you fall asleep almost immediately! I wake up without all the pain I experienced with my old mattress and really don’t want to get out of bed. I got the 4-inch and maybe with my 70-year old bones should have gotten the 3-inch? I do know it’s soft and comfortable and the lavender smell is nice too. I also know I’m not giving it back!! ... show more

I got this mattress for a day bed that I bought on Amazon, it is in my guest room. I bought the 10 inch twin mattress for the bed, but it turns out the bed is so low that the ten inch didn't look right on it. So, instead of trying to return the mattress, I bought this topper, and I bought the 4 inch topper. Oh my! I never dreamed a soft topper would ever feel so good to me as I always thought I preferred firm mattresses. This is so comfortable that I have been choosing to sleep in the guest room on this twin size day bed rather than my lovely queen sized master bedroom. It is soft and caves in when you sit on it, this is true...but I found out that when you lay on it, it feels totally different than sitting on it....your body is cradled and it just caves a bit as your body is distributed evenly and it feels like you are floating...then, after I lay there a short time in heaven, I turn on my side, as I always do, to fall asleep, and it still feels fabulous and off I go to dream land until the sun wakes me up! I love this 4 inch mattress topper! I can't speak for the 2 or 3 inch, but the 4 inch is to die for as far as I am concerned. I never would have thought I would go for a soft topper. I am tempted to buy the 3 inch for my queen size because the 4 inch would make it necessary for me to use a ladder to climb up...2 inch would be better height wise, but not sure if it would be as effective, so I may try the 3 inch. Difficult decision though...since not easy to exchange . Anyway, I am very thankful for this 4 inch twin sized topper! Thank you! ... show more

Beware of Return Issues I originally purchased the 4-inch topper because I needed a lower-profile sleeping surface. Unfortunately, after it expanded, it felt more like a soft foam pad than a supportive mattress topper and compressed significantly during use. It did not provide the firmness or support I expected. I ended up purchasing the 6-inch version from the same brand, which was much firmer and worked far better for my needs. I returned the 4-inch topper, but because these foam products expand after opening, it was impossible to fit it back into the original packaging. I carefully packed the correct 4-inch topper inside the larger box from the 6-inch model so it could be shipped safely. Despite returning the correct product, my refund was denied because the seller claimed I returned the wrong item. The only difference was the shipping box. The actual topper returned was the correct item. Very disappointed with how this return was handled. Buyers should be aware that if you need to return this product after it expands, packaging it back into the original box may be impossible, and you could face refund disputes even when returning the correct item. ... show more

We purchased this matress topper about a month agoanf we wanted to wait and give an honest review. We are retired and live in a tropical environment. We purchased it to alleviate my hip pain and discomfort from our older matress that we aren't quite ready replace yet. It's like sleeping on a cloud. Here's a summary of our topper. Temperature; The ventilation holes help to disperse the heat from you body. While it may seem warmer when you first get into bed, the heat doesn't accumulate any more than a regular matress. Fit: Perfect fit for our king size bed. We have a matress protector and we do have extra deep pockets on our sheets. Sleep: WOW! We are sleeping better and we find we are moving more fluidly when we first get up. No more morning shuffle. We now sleep through the night. If we do get up, we are able to go straight back to sleep.
