I read most of the reviews before I buy this 4” topper infused with lavender scents! Most of the complaints from other buyers feels like that mayb some misunderstanding! At first I thought it’s $115 topper. And WOW when I placed my order at checkout they offered $20 off, I was so happy! Complaints from other buyers 1. People complain about that once they took it out, the topper cracked already? It’s most likely they forced to pull open the folded unexpanded topper open and tore it apart! My advice would be just taking the plastic package off and let it breath dun even try to spread it open! The “READ BEFORE OPENING” stated so clearly that toppers need 48 hours for expansion! Just take off the package and leave it alone! 2. The topper breaks in the long run? Actually, I got the similar cooling topper from another company for a higher price, it still got the same problem. So this time, I placed a separate order of a waterproof mattress encasement with a zipper, so I can put my mattress and topper in that case to decrease the friction between Mattress, topper and sheets! These covers also protect against allergens, dust mites, bacteria, perspiration, urine and fluids. That would be a good investment, I guess! 3. The lavender scents too strong? Same magic can fix this problem! Put the mattress encasement on the topper and mattress so the scent won’t be too strong! And it would come out slowly and last longer! 4. Back pain getting worse after using this topper? Mattress can’t help all kinds of back pain.... I’m a massage therapist, I worked at chiropractic doctor office b4, I can tell you that different type of back pain needs a different style of mattress & pillows. But to me, I got tight shoulders, numbing hand problems, so this mattress is soft enough to help me not to compress my shoulder while I’m sleeping on the sideline! If you have questions for the firmness of the topper/mattress, I believe the customer service staffs of this company would willing to answer and suggest the right one for u! 5. The mattress Absorbs heats and it’s hot? Actually, this company is not promoting the Mattress can cool you down, they just compare it to the old style foam topper/mattress say this one is cooler THAN the old fashioned one! If you really need cooling effects I would suggest u to buy the cooling gel infused one! I love Lucid products, I got 2 mattresses and one topper over the last couple years from them! They are not the top line not the best quality! But These are greater valued products with the affordable price! And yes, as you can see I was bored while I’m waiting for my topper to expand That’s why I’m writing a long-axx review for everyone! Hmmm My topper expanded to the fullest within one hour, it’s time to go! Hopes this review is helpful to other shoppers! I have had mines for over 3 years at the time of this writing. Out the box the lavender smell was potent but over time it dissipated and went away completely over the course of a few months. It did not bother me much and the smell made my Man Cave smell better than what it was. Bonus points! The topper inflated rather quickly but I waited 24 hours to use it and when I did...WHEW! Night and Day difference to the bed I had at the time. It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I stopped tossing and turning during the night and with my CPAP I sleep so good! People who have sat on my bed immediately wanted to take a nap. It is so comfortable! It can be somewhat difficult to move because it is a very thick topper (Mines was 4 inches) but you get use to it. You also will have to get bed sheets that can accommodate the thickness. Over time this will break down. I am a morbidly obese person (550+ pounds) and I am surprised this topper held up this long. The topper hasn't flattened out but it is breaking apart. The holes are where the breaks started and mines is almost split in two parts. Mines also started to discolor because I sleep hot and sweat. Because it is foam I did not expect it to last as long as it did but I only sleep in my bed and lounge in my computer chair. This was supposed to be a short term solution until I move and get a new bed. I did move and get a new bed and I put this topper on top and it feels amazing. I will have to throw mines away soon and I will be upset as it has been very good to me and my fat. If you are looking to buy this don't expect this to be a long term solution. If your bed is uncomfortable you will probably need to get a new bed. I am giving it high marks because it has been so good to me and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a foam topper.

I have a brand new sealy posterpedic mattress n was waking up every night with back pain and numb fingers . I finally decided to take another look at mattress toppers n I could not believe how inexpensive this one was so I figured it wasn't going to be that good just like all the other ones I purchased.i decided to take yet another chance n I ordered the 4 inch lavender infused topper. The smell was very faint but relaxing and calming and the topper was a piece of heaven in a box .I now sleep a full 8 hrs without waking up during the night. When I do wake up I feel wonderful, no back pain, no numb fingers all I feel is so well rested. This is one of the best purchases I have made. I waited for a few months before writing this review. I wanted to make sure it held up and didn't sag in where I slept at. But as soon as you get up the memory foam puffs right back up to the original shape and feels justas amazing like the first time you laid on it. I also bought mine Like new damaged packaging and got it extremely cheap. It still has that subtle, faint lavender smell and sometimes I can smell it on my sheets and comforter. It's such a awesome relaxing scent With that said I strongly recommend this topper and I will be giving it 5 stars. If I was able to give more I definitely would. It is honestly the best one I have tried n well worth the money

Bottom Line: I am really pleased with it. Good 4U to Know: It is sturdily packed for shipping but I suggest you arrange to be at home when it is delivered because, although the foam is compressed and held by plastic, the ends aren’t sealed in plastic and if the box gets sopping wet by rain, so will the edges of your pad. Once you free it from the plastic and it starts to expand, it becomes unwieldy and having another person available to help you maneuver it around will make it a LOT easier. It’s heavier than you’d expect foam to be, too. Lucid wants you to let it unroll, lay flat, and expand for 48 hours before using it. The easiest way to do this would be to position it on the bed it’s intended for and leave it alone for a couple of days. I bought the queen and it is true to size. The lavender scent is very nice but lasts only a week at most. To protect it from spills or the pets, I use a lined mattress pad. If you add up the thickness of the Lucid pad and your mattress, and get bedding that will fit that thickness, you will never know there are two layers. It doesn’t slide around on my mattress. I recommend it for people who are not movement impaired because it’s squishy and you need to be able to push yourself out of the indentation your heavy bum makes.

I started off with the gel infused memory film Mattress toppers at Walmart and they smell like a chemical factory. And this one smelled like lavender it truly smelled like lavender. I tried it for three days and the only thing I got out of that was that my sheets and my pillows and my blankets and my myself and my dog smell like chemical so my sister said why not try this one she’s had it before it really worked. I was in a car accident many years ago went through some violence so my back is constantly in pain and I do pest control for living and not being able to get any sleep because; I was in so much pain I went ahead and spent the extra money. I got the 4 inch thick version and it was the best sleep. I’m telling you last night was the best sleep. I’ve had in over 10 years if you can afford to get the thicker one you want One that you’re going to sink into and is very soft this is the one I recommend 100% I will never not be cheap anymore because you definitely get what you pay for! Oh, and I forgot to mention you will smell lovely when you wake up not like a chemical factory!!

I hate to write a bad review, I really do. But I purchased two of these. One for myself, one for my son. At first, they seemed great. They even smell great. But the first indication something wasn't right was how deeply you sink with your body weight into the foam. At first, we thought it was great that it form fit to our body. Even the dogs would sink deeply into the mattress, and then, they had to REALLY struggle to get up. My son (21 yo) couldn't sleep on it longer than one month. It caused him back and hip pain. He got rid of his almost immediately. I continued to sleep on mine for over an entire year until I (42 yo female) started having hip pain. I'm a side sleeper, and over the course of over a year, I developed some new and significant hip and back pains. Early this year (2022) I became convinced it was the mattress topper. I removed it and within 48 hours the hip pain was gone. This topper had really good reviews when my son picked it out for his birthday but our experience was quite miserable. I ended up cutting mine in half to make bed rolls for camping on the ground hoping to get some use from it, but it still causes pain upon waking, even on a hard surface. I wouldn't recommend this product. I'm not sure what went wrong with the design. By all appearances, it should be just as good as any other mattress topper. But unfortunately, it's caused significant pain instead. I was honestly surprised myself and disappointed in my purchase decision. If you already have pain, keep shopping, this isn't the answer!

This was an awesome mattress topper for almost a year, then the foam wore out and started waking up sore. Tried flipping it and re-expanding the foam, but it’s toast. Disappointed it didn’t last longer, especially given the cost and that I don’t weigh that much.

Opened it up and it was ultra flat, the instructions stated to wait 48 hours to unflatten and surprisingly it did get to full height after two full days out of the box. No dents, damage or any problems. I got the 4 inch model with a cover and the cover is really actually nice, super soft and fits the topper perfectly. And I super recommend getting the cover with this topper. I went from a much softer topper so at first I was a little bit put off by the increase in firmness (it’s still really soft). The extra density actually really helped improve my sleep and my back already feels way better after about two weeks. The lavender smell isn’t super strong but is mildly present. I was actually really surprised how good it smelled and thought it would be way more overpowering but it works really well and isn’t overbearing. Only very minor gripes are it is a bit on the firmer side and the topper does tend to slide off the mattress after a few nights. These are super minor gripes and I definitely think the positives outweigh any of my perceived negatives. Overall this thing is really stankin good. Decently priced, super comfy and smells really good. I’ve had really good sleep with it and highly recommend this topper.
