I bought this mattress topper for a mattress I purchased that was incredibly firm. They say to give it 24hrs to expand but I was too impatient and put it on after about 10 minutes. My mattress was instantly transformed, it is so comfortable and soft, it also fits my queen mattress perfectly and have
had no issues with it moving around! The only thing I will say is it does hold body heat but honestly is no big deal for the comfort. I broke my back a few years ago and struggle to get comfortable at night with this I am comfortable in minutes and sleep through the night! Totally worth the money spent!!

Packaged well, no smell to speak of, ready to use in 24 hours and a perfect fit. The down alternative is flattened out when you put the sheet over it, but it's still comfortable. Good price!

Wow, what an amazing product. I was reluctant to purchase it due to a few reviews of the scent. I am very sensitive to scents and this was NOT the issue in my case. This is extremely comfortable for a hard sofa bed that I have for family visits. They love sleeping on it and I do as well.

Far better than I thought it could be

I recieved this from my daughter after coming out of the hospital. I couldn't believe how soft and comfortable it was. Some people have complained about making a person too warm. But I haven't experienced that at all. I can't believe how well I slept with this. I am so grateful. Even my husband seems
to be more comfortable in this and sleeps better. I encourage my daughter to get one for herself as well. Great product. Soft and comfortable.

Originally, I ordered a similar topper from another brand on Amazon and let’s just say what I received and what was in the product description along with the pictures didn’t match so we had to go our separate ways… I ended up ordering the Lucid 4” topper and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It d
idn’t have a strong chemical smell like a lot of toppers do, it was easy to unpack and they included a tool to help cut off the plastic packaging without damaging the topper and pad. The instructions say to lay it flat for 48 hrs to fully expand and air out any smell. It only took mine 24hrs and it was good to go. I am an all position sleeper so getting comfy can be a real struggle but this topper is so comfortable it makes it easy. It also helped relieve my back and knee pain which is a plus. I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again. What you see is actually what you get 💯💯💯

I spent a lot of time researching mattress toppers & reading reviews trying to find the best fit that will hopefully relieve my sciatic & back pain. I currently have a firm mattress & recently bought a new "medium" mattress for the extra room. I tried that medium mattress and it seemed to due better
with my pain. It wasn't until I recently that I slept on a "soft" bed & noticed such a difference in my pain. My bed is not old, so I wasn't going to buy a new one hence the hunt for the best mattress topper. After much soul searching & praying, I decided to purchase this topper (I really didn't have the extra money to spend.) Once I received it, I was scared to open it because if it didn't work there was no way I was going to be able to stuff it back in it's box to return it. Once I braved it, I loved the gel infused padding even by itself. I spread out the down-alt. topper & let it sit for 2 days. It did plump up , but only ok. So, I took another customers advise & put it in the dryer on high for 30 min. I do have to tell you that if you have a normal dryer like I, the topper will completely fill up the whole dryer. I was actually a bit scared of it being a fire hazard, so I kept an eye on it. I also adjusted the topper in the dryer to ensure every area was affected. IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY!! Now came the time to put a sheet over it all. Even though it said it would fit over it all, I didn't see how it could. I am sooo happy to tell you that it did! So far, EVERYTHING has worked as advertised. I can't wait to try it out tonight!!!!! I will pray again that it will work wonders on my sciatic & back pain!

Good product but retains heat

The 2” model is number one on CR and I’m a side sleeper so sometimes get hip and shoulder pain while sleeping. I bought the 4” model but quickly found out that it retains heat and my sleep got worse since I was hot all night, even after using fewer blankets

UPDATE 4.5 MONTHS LATER: Still in love. PERFECT amount of support and cushion, does not get hot whatsoever, and the pillowtop has been easy to wash and dry in a regular washer/dryer setup. It has held its shape really well also. Love it. --- Ok, so it's only been one night, but this thing is a dream.
It is a miracle. I am still saving up to afford a new mattress, and as I need someone to deliver, haul out the old, AND it's a Cal King, I just haven't been able to swing all the expenses. This is the stopgap I so desperately needed. I think this will extend the life of my mattress for a while but will update my review if or when this thing goes bad. But last night was some of the best sleep I've had outside of a hotel room in YEARS. I used the pillowtop on top of the foam, and it did NOT get hot at all, and it is HOT where I live right now. I was very, very worried about this because I'm a hot sleeper. Like, fans on, kick the blankets off, night sweats hot sleeper. I did buy a "cooling technology" sheet set, so that may have helped, but honestly they felt like any other sheets. Trust me when I say if you use the pillowtop it isn't a heat sink. I do think if you use just the foam that that will get hot, though. It was very easy to unroll and position on my bed. The foam dimensions aren't exact, but it's close enough and it made zero difference anyway. The pillowtop easily extended over the corners and stayed on perfectly. I did not notice any smell at all. Do be aware that while you let this reconstitute for the 2 days it says to, if you have entitled cats, they might find the foam REALLY appealing to sharpen claws on (ask me how I know...), so I'd advise you try to keep them out of the space until you've fully made your bed. Just sayin'.
