This has been probably one of the best products I’ve purchased through Amazon! SO comfortable and tames down my aches, pains and muscle stiffness throughout the night for better sleep and way less pain the next morning. It does make it harder to turn in bed, and I do get a little warm from laying on it (not extreme warmth), but the benefits are worth it. The topper looks just like the picture shown. Our bed is years old. The mattress is still in decent condition. It's one the flips over and has a pillow top on both sides. We've always been good about flipping and rotating it. But, time wears on. I have neuropathy and I was noticing that my hands and arms were falling asleep or tingling every morning. I have had to wear braces. Plus my lower back would take a while of creaking to warm up and not be sore. I have one hip that had started to hurt. I'm not getting into the husband's side. We are both healthy and keep in pretty good shape so I just knew some of this was the mattress. Was I ready to spend another $1K or more on a mattress....ummmm....nope! I had slept on a friend's bed who had gotten a memory foam mattress and liked it. Then I started researching the toppers. I have been looking into a topper for months. Figured I would give it a shot. Hopefully sleep better and save a little money. Thank you Prime Day! haha After reading about everything I could and then reading reviews, comparing prices etc, I decided on this. Hallelujah!! I picked this one because it had good reviews on temperature. I run hot so I needed something that wouldn't make me sweat. I liked the bamboo and charcoal features. This came perfectly packaged. Easy to open (provided a razor tool for the plastic) and lay out. There was absolutely NO SMELL. I was worried. I put my face right into it. Nothing. I have a small house so there was no way I was able to stick a king sized topper somewhere for 48 hours, so this only sat for about 14 hours. It did start to expand immediately after being laid out. I already had a pillow mattress cover w/ deep pockets and it fits right over it. I have slept on this for 2 nights so I might be pulling the trigger early on a review, but I will definitely update this if necessary. Night one: I could definitely tell a difference. It was very comfortable. I was worried about too soft or too firm, but like goldilocks, it was just right. It is soft enough that you sink into it, but firm enough that you are not in a hole (if that makes sense). I was not hot at all. Summer is definitely a time to test that out. Night two: I think I liked it even better last night. Just a huge difference. Even lying on it to read. I was comfortable with no aches. Huge difference in the morning. I haven't worn my arm braces and my arms and hands have not had any pins and needles or numbness. My hip has not bothered me and my lower back doesn't feel like I have to oil it up before exercising or just breathing. At this point, I would definitely recommend this topper. I know there are so many out there. My suggestion is don't rush it. Read reviews on and off of Amazon. Going through though, add this one to your list of a possibility. I will add too that I was thinking I would need a 4 inch, but I did read somewhere that someone stated that it feels like you sink further down with a 4inch so I got the 3 and it's perfect for my needs. Sorry so long, but I invested a lot of time into this. haha

I purchased the queen sized lavender 3" topper for reference. I bought this item to go on top of our more firm memory foam camper mattress. It is very soft and if it is placed on a hard mattress you may be able to feel the harder mattress below over time, but this topper is still incredible. I also used this on my everyday sleeping mattress and it was a dream! So, I am going to buy another one for my room now. DO NOT force the topper open, let it expand on its own time. If you force it open before it starts to fluff up you may damage the topper, rips in the seams etc.. Mine took about 45 minutes to fluff up before I laid it flat. I put it on my bed and walked away and came back to the room about 45 minutes later and it looked fluffed up. That's when I laid it flat and I let it lay out on my bed all day, that night, and the next day before sleeping on it as well. I used it on my bed for one night before I moved it from inside my house to my camper and put it on the bed, put a mattress protector over it and then put my regular sheets on the bed. I moved it into my camper and put it on my memory foam mattress that is rather firm. This topper isn't very dense so you will pretty much feel the softness immediately when you lay down on it and your body will make an impression. I am 130#'s and my husband is 180#'s, we both slept very well on it during the month we used it out on our adventures. My husband absolutely loves this topper and wants another one for our bedroom. I had a traumatic back injury 10 years ago and I also agree to how comfortable this topper can make your bed. I did feel that after about 8 hours of laying on it during the night (I am a side sleeper) I could feel the mattress below it, but I also think this is because we have an old firm memory foam mattress in our camper. I knew when I purchased it that it wouldn't alleviate that, but I was hoping it would help make it more comfortable and I was right! When I used it in my bedroom I didn't feel the mattress below and I slept in for the first time in years! I'm so happy with my purchase that I am purchasing a second one! PROS: I really like the smell of the topper, it is pretty strong when you first open it, but it goes away within a couple of hours. Now I only smell it if my face is by the topper and it is a very pleasant smell. It helps firmer mattresses become softer and more comfortable. It is a dream on my bedroom mattress that is a hybrid (springs and memory foam on top). It is light weight and I can move it around to different beds if I want by myself. It is exactly the size of my queen mattresses, the same thickness all over, and I didn't have any issues with it moving around and I think this is because I put my mattress protector over it and then my sheets. CONS: The wait for it to be useable is hard because I am an impatient person. It did move around on the bed until I put it under my mattress protector. The smell is pretty strong when you first open the box, but it dissipates in a few hours time. Not sure if this is 100% the toppers fault, but I feel like it makes me sleep hotter during the night and I like to sleep on the cooler side. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to add some extra comfort to their mattress whether it is new or used.
