I have had mines for over 3 years at the time of this writing. Out the box the lavender smell was potent but over time it dissipated and went away completely over the course of a few months. It did not bother me much and the smell made my Man Cave smell better than what it was. Bonus points! The topper inflated rather quickly but I waited 24 hours to use it and when I did...WHEW! Night and Day difference to the bed I had at the time. It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I stopped tossing and turning during the night and with my CPAP I sleep so good! People who have sat on my bed immediately wanted to take a nap. It is so comfortable! It can be somewhat difficult to move because it is a very thick topper (Mines was 4 inches) but you get use to it. You also will have to get bed sheets that can accommodate the thickness. Over time this will break down. I am a morbidly obese person (550+ pounds) and I am surprised this topper held up this long. The topper hasn't flattened out but it is breaking apart. The holes are where the breaks started and mines is almost split in two parts. Mines also started to discolor because I sleep hot and sweat. Because it is foam I did not expect it to last as long as it did but I only sleep in my bed and lounge in my computer chair. This was supposed to be a short term solution until I move and get a new bed. I did move and get a new bed and I put this topper on top and it feels amazing. I will have to throw mines away soon and I will be upset as it has been very good to me and my fat. If you are looking to buy this don't expect this to be a long term solution. If your bed is uncomfortable you will probably need to get a new bed. I am giving it high marks because it has been so good to me and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a foam topper. ... show more

This thing shipped a week after I ordered it even though it's sold and shipped by Amazon. Was NOT happy. Was delivered yesterday and was folded up with strange lumps in it. I layed it out on top of my bed and left it there for several hours. As soon as I spread it out I actually saw it expanding. After about half an hour it was fully expanded with zero lumps. Last night I slept in it and this topper was soooooooo soft but it was firm. A little bit warm but that's fine. When I got out of bed I actually saw this topper regain is original form. I'm impressed. Oh yeah... The lavender scent is really mild and barely noticeable. The comfort made up for being delivered a week late. ... show more

I love how comfortable this topper is! Its thick yet soft . And it doesn't take long for it to take its shape back when you move. It feels amazing the moment you lay down, it feels like your on pancakes lol! i am a side sleeper and it helps with pressure point relief .The smell is there but doesn't come through the sheets. My only negative is that it does get hot. It will be great in the winter but right now during summer I will be looking for a cooling bed sheet for some relief. First off I just wanna say that this mattress topper smells amazing and I’m gonna be really sad because I read the reviews that it’s going to fade. I was really surprised I read a ton of reviews before I actually purchase this and was kind of sad because I honestly didn’t want to wait 48 hours for the mattress thing to pop up and took it out of the box laid it on my bed and it took 10 minutes to fully pop open and letting it sit and I will respond back soon with the first night sleep but I did lay on it and man I can’t wait to get my cheeks clapped on this ... show more

Small package big pad. The lavender scent was nice and noticeable for about two weeks. It sleeps as cool as my mattress and holds you in place. I used to move all over at night but this helps greatly with tossing and turning!

I have a prosthetic shoulder but have always slept on my side. It was very difficult to sleep because of the pressure on my shoulder. Now it is not a problem. This says it is lavender infused.... I could not detect lavender. But I don't really care.

I have other mattres topper (tempurpedic) in other house and I needed another while I’m away from home. I got this not expecting much for the price. To be honest I’m sleeping much better in this one. I have hips problems and Lower back pain but with this topper I’m sleeping ver good and I feel less stiffness in the mornings. Also I can sleep longer. For me is not hot at all.
