It's thin, light, and doesn't seem like it would offer much comfort or support. Boy was I wrong. This topper is great! This improved the comfort and quality of sleep on our queen sized mattress in our RV. I dreaded sleeping in our RV. After 4 mattress replacements in 1 year and $3k in outlay, I finally just dealt with what we last purchased. Our issue was weight, we were trying to find a good combination of comfort versus mattress weight. This is a hard proposition. We sleep on a Tempur-pedic at home, a mattress in which we love but they are far too heavy for the camper. We went with a lighter weight "firm" memory foam for the last mattress and while indeed firm, it was uncomfortable for side sleeping and just bearable for back sleeping. Adding this cheap, light, 2in thick topper completely changed the characteristics of the mattress. It is now comfortable regardless of sleeping position. At this price point I wouldn't care if we had to replace it yearly but time will tell how it holds up. Until then we are extremely happy with our purchase. ... show more

Imagine my surprise when my small box showed up to my house. I thought, they really have gotten smart about packing. Figured I had really scored the deal. But it turns out, this is not an actual mattress. It apparently sits on top of a mattress. Which I find ironic, it’s like putting a tiny mattress on a huge mattress. People who put hollandaise sauce on over easy eggs, would probably think this makes sense. I rolled myself up in it. And I lay down. That was not comfortable. It’s itchy. Smells like teens tennis shoes. That is a free feature. It does not work if you put it between the mattress and box spring. But there are no instructions. So how would you know if you don’t try? None of this is in any of the product descriptions. I should probably start reading the reviews before I buy stuff. ... show more

our mother is bedridden, hospice care. preventing bed sores before getting this required a lot of daily effort, moving around, stuffing pillows etc. using this has made that issue entirely go away. after six months use on top of her other mattress we've had zero bed sore issues. no more rotating pillows let alone the need to constantly shift her position. fyi put the egg crate dimples on top not the bottom. the best purchase we've made for her to date! ... show more

Very happy with this topper. Just note once you open it up it is recommended to wait 48 hours before actually using it for it to completely expand I would imagine. I’m sorry I didn’t know that ahead of time. Beautiful color and very comfortable not as heavy and bulky as other toppers I have had.

I bought this to replace my 1st one and to add to the softness of my mattress. It is really comfortable and definitely adds to my new mattress which is on the higher scale of firm. The only thing that I don't like is that it is very flimsy compared to others I have had in the past. Gives decent soft/medium support on top of firm mattress. I do not have pillow top bc they sag/get lumpy after a year or so. Price is reasonable enough to replace in several years if needed without buying a new mattress.

Firstly, unlike most of the reviews, my lavender infused mattress topper didn't smell like lavender. It smelled like strong cleaning chemicals when I unrolled mine. Also, I've only had mine a few months and it's already tearing/ripping, so the quality is less than promised. Lastly, I don't feel like it is as comfortable as mentioned either because I still wake up with awful hip and lower back pain, which I didn't have with my previous mattress topper.
