The media could not be loaded. Hmm yea that's a finger with maybe twenty or twenty-five pounds of pressure on a "firm" mattress. I'm 220 pounds I'd guess my gut is holding about 50-75 pounds so to put it in perspective my legs are the left and my head is the right. of the high points of the letter V when I'm laying on my Belly..... it's almost like my head is at ten inches my legs are at ten inches and my belly sinks the mattress down so much it's at maybe three inches left very uncomfortable. Unfortunately this isn't for me and with the good reviews maybe I got a dud. But I'll be returning it and trying a different brand as. Nothing about this mattress is firm. ... show more

I bought this mattress after staying at a friend's house that had one. It is a very comfortable mattress! I previously had a Purple Mattress (much more expensive) and didnt feel it was firm enough. I was concerned about the "Medium Plush" feel of this one not being firm enough. It is more firm than I was anticipating and that works out great for me. The mattress itself is light, one person can move it around easily, but has a feeling of depth/firmness to it that I would expect to find in a much heavier mattress. It feels like when you get into a bucket seat of a sports car, like it is hugging your body. There isn't much bounce to it, totally takes the inertia out of a sit down or a jump into bed. It doesn't feel hot, which was a concern. It responds pretty quickly to movement - you get that sink in feeling, but can still move around without feeling stuck. Noticed that my consistent lower back pain has reduced and I am sleeping better all around. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a firm mattress with a bit of give! ... show more

Day 1 When I first opened it I had laid it out on the bed frame as most suggested, since it would be a pain to move once opened. I let it expand for 48 hours before laying on it and it completely flattened out. My first impression is that it looks like a very good quality mattress and the fabric on it it very nice. I wish I wouldn’t have sheets covering it. I had an extra 2” foam topper I put on it and that was a mistake. Last night I felt like I was sinking in too deep and I was very uncomfortable. I am going to try tonight with just the mattress and see how that feels. Day 2 I removed the 2” foam topper I added to the mattress and it is much firmer. At first I thought it was too firm, but as I laid there and slept through the night I found it was very comfortable sleeping on my back and on my side. I did find myself getting warm, but not more than my previous spring mattress. So far I am very happy with my purchase and it works very well with my tempur ergo adjustable base. ... show more

Honestly wish I could return this. I purchased the 2020 model queen in “plush” I did not have bedbugs on it like other people said or mold which I am grateful for but here are the pros and cons. Cons outweigh pros for me. Pros: Comes in a box Easy to cut plastic to unwrap Inflates fairly quickly Comfortable when sitting on the edge Doesn’t disturb others sleep very much Supportive if u like a firm mattress- I do not unless it’s completely firm like a standard firm mattress is, this ones just sightly plush then about 1/2 inch into it, its firm. (Con for me) Nice textured pattern Cons: I got a plush and after 24 hours it is EXTREMELY FIRM FOR A PLUSH!!!! Not what I wanted AT ALL!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED FOR $300, thought I could trust a reputable brand.. guess not. NO RETURN OPTION EVEN THOUGH I’VE ONLY SLEPT ON IT TWICE AND ITS STILL IN NEW CONDITION- even still SMELLS LIKE PAINT?! Waking up with headaches and neck and back pain. Doesn’t relieve pressure off tender points. One sided not meant to flip. Sadly I’m going to have to try to sell this after only owning it for a couple days because its just not what I expected from Lucid at all.. ... show more

I had a pillow top queen coil mattress but I was getting to the point that when I would get up in the morning my back hurt so bad it was hard to bend over. I'm sure that is partially as a result of my minor scoliosis, but still uncomfortable. I thought I would try this bed and see if it would help. A friend has one and loves it. It arrived in a much smaller box than anticipated and was vacuum sealed in a rolled up shape like a huge sleeping bag. There was a small clear plastic "envelope" on the side that had a blue plastic cutting implement in it to use to cut the plastic without risking cutting the mattress which I though was actually pretty clever. Once I got the outer plastic off that held it in the roll shape there was another set of plastic that kept it compressed. Once that was off it sprang right into shape and within a hour was ready to be slept on, which was surprising as I thought it would take longer to expand. I will say that my deep pocket sheets from my pillow top mattress are a little loose on this mattress but still work well with just a tad bit of "tucking" at the bottom of the mattress, so keep that in mind if you plan to buy sheets along with the mattress. The 10 inch mattress doesn't need the deep pocket sheets like some of the pillowtops do. I fell asleep last night quickly and easily. While the bed is somewhat firm it also has a certain amount of give to it to make it very comfortable and conforming as well. I got up this morning with no pain in my back for the first time in years. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. If it does this will be the best choice I ever made! ... show more
