Very surprised with the quality of sleep. Actually waking up feeling refreshed and with less aches and pains. Wake up in the middle of the night far less often than before. Wish I would have found this mattress earlier. And I'm almost 200 lbs went in there and laid in it one day while he was in school lol just to try it out. I must say it is very comfy. Supports me pretty good with some give. No smell, it’s very light weight and easy to move, it expanded fully in about 24 hours, is very comfortable and supportive, I bought the 10 inch thick it feels and looks nice. Packaging was good. I was coming from using a 20 year old spring type mattress and while i notice the memory foam is definitely better at curving to my body, I notice no improvement in my quality of sleep and the mattress tends to get very hot and sticky under my body. Don’t know if that’s just a memory foam thing or what. But it is a comfortable mattress and a good price, so I guess I can’t complain. ... show more

I researched this one very carefully before deciding on it. The issue was weather to get "firm" or not, since I wanted a firm mattress. It was a good thing I trusted other reviewers who warned only to get the "regular" level of firmness (no additional firmness) or it would be too hard. And they were right. After unboxing (more like unrolling, or actually "allowing the blob to expand automatically), and placing it on the metal bed frame (also purchased at the same time for the purpose) upon which I had placed an extra-dense piece of heavy duty cardboard (do not use corrugated) to prevent "oozing" of the gel and foam construction through the slats of the bed frame, I had to sit on it for firmness. Too soon to tell, as the instructions said to wait a while for it to expand out to full size. They were right that it takes a few days to reach "full power" meaning expanded to full size and density. But even after a few hours it was evident that it was probably going to be firm enough. Guess what? After a few days it was confirmed that this thing was super firm, as firm as or even firmer THAN a regular firm mattress. But it is different- wait til you try it. It really is nice. It STAYS put. Or should I say YOU stay put and do not jostle around when you move around on it. I like it a lot. I don't think I would ever want a regular mattress ever again. This was for a spare room, and guests love it. When the time comes to replace my queen size bed I'm gonna get me one of these gel thangs! I am very impressed. ... show more

What I love: - no smell - only 2 days to fully expand - very soft, “sink in” feeling - great for side sleepers because of the sink in, so it relieves pressure points - even supportive for 300 lb guest - though sinks in, never sinks too low to touch the bottom - great price I really like this mattress and the medium firmness level works really great for a guest room that is trying to please various people. I think I will get a firm one for myself because that is my preference. The medium feels really great to lay on, but it sinks lower than I like when sitting on the edge or under my elbows/knees. This mattress is super soft yet supportive and unbelievably comfortable, it fluffed up to the full 10 inches within a day and after about 10 minutes of being open was pretty much ready to be slept on. Even with it Being a memory foam mattress it never had that lingering smell memory foam normally does, the edge support is off the charts when it comes to supporting, if I sit directly on a spot it sinks eventually but laying flat like during sleep or anything the edge holds up throughout the night. I got these for guest beds. I had to buy a big fluffy mattress topper to make it more comfortable for my guests who were quite gracious about the fact that the mattress didn't really support them and one of my guests had had back surgery months before. The mattress topper made it so he could sleep. This is one of those memory foam mattresses that you sink into with a "thud" and cannot move and it makes it hard to sleep. I was so disappointed.
