While the shell is hard, this case is probably not intended for rough use. It is good for personal use/travel, but I wouldn’t toss it around. I like how the handles are on the same side of the zipper, something I noticed was not necessarily true for other cases made by the same brand. The foam is not secured too tightly to the case, but it stays and could be fixed w glue if necessary. I am satisfied with it ... show more

Using to transport Pioneer DJ controller. The case has a soft suede-like top liner inside. The inside bottom has cushioning to lay the controller on top of. So far no issues with zipper or handle.
