These are disappointing. The LED’s are not bright at all and there is no cord, this is a USB plug and is very short. If plugging into tv that has usb it would be fine, plan to buy an extension for it if you don’t so you can plug them in.

Installing them was pretty easy after I finally got the adhesive backing off. When I took it off originally the whole adhesive back came off instead of just the top part you’re supposed to peel off and I finally got them separated and the rest of the lights were installed without a problem. They work with the remote but the app doesn’t work at all. I don’t know if it’s cause I have another brand of lights on my tv that use an app too and it won’t work with both since it’s Bluetooth or if the app just sucks but I haven’t gotten it to work at all. For the price, the lights work and I can use the remote it came with at least but for the app not working and the adhesive being a pain I would definitely look at another brand. Also the cord to plug them in is pretty short compared to other ones so keep that in mind too. I think it’s maybe just under 12 inches. I bought another kind that I messed up and got these to try it again the right way this time lol and the original ones had a longer cord that would’ve made the lights long enough but since the cord is shorter they don’t reach as far and aren’t long enough (see pictures). First of all, I love these lights. They're beautiful and bright and look amazing once you get them put up. However, I would highly recommend ordering some clips to go with them. If I were the seller I would include some clips with them, but that's just my opinion. The adhesion is poor like most of these lights that I've tried. The remote could use some work as well. It works great if you're very close to the receiver, but you have to be pretty close which almost defeats the purpose of a remote control. Other than that, they're great. ... show more

The lights barely illuminate much even on the highest brightness settings. I have other light strips and Govee lights around the house the illuminate much stronger than these lights. You get what you pay for.
