    • Extremely bright and remote works good
I am using this at my business in the parking lot for dusk to dawn lighting up the corner parking area because the property won't install a pole light there and its very dark for the employees getting off in the evening. Been using for awhile and it charges great during the day, in full sun where mounted, and is very bright when it comes on and has easily lasted past the time the last person leaves at night. I have a very large yard with outbuildings and equipment that needs security. I love that this light can be installed basically anywhere that the solar panel can charge. Now I will have bright light in those dark areas of my yard, shop, and barn to help prevent nighttime 2 and 4 legged critters from making off with my belongings. The remote control is a nice extra that none of my other yard lights have had. Price may seem high, but for the security it provides and not using any electricity, it is well worth it. ... show more

    • Battery Weight Demands Stronger Hardware
When I first unboxed this solar light, I quickly realized it was heavier than expected, mostly because it has so many rechargeable batteries packed inside. The flimsy bracket it came with definitely wasn't up for the job, so l had to come up with a sturdier mounting solution. I also learned it really needs to be placed pretty high up to cast its light properly. Once everything was finally secure and positioned at the right height, it lit up my entire backyard beautifully. I got the loyoele Solar Street Light to place by our barn, and it has been working great. The main reason we needed this was for practical, wide-area lighting, and it is extremely bright. The wide, 240° coverage is perfect for illuminating the whole area in front of the barn and the beginning of the driveway. It really does feel like a proper street light, not just a small outdoor floodlight. The dusk-to-dawn functionality is hassle-free. It turns on reliably every night, and the motion-sensing feature works exactly as advertised. It stays at a lower, energy-saving brightness, and then immediately goes to full power when you walk out or pull up, which is exactly what we wanted for security and safety. Installation was simple with the included pole mount, and so far, the weatherproofing seems solid. We haven't had any issues with rain or moisture affecting its performance. The battery life is also impressive; it charges up quickly during the day and easily lasts through the night, even on shorter winter days. Was really pleased to set up these Solar lights near the back fence of our Animal Sanctuary that provided soft but consistent light and a comfort safety that let us sleep well.
