I had to return the first one I ordered because it was too large. If your waist measurement is on the border line between two sizes, I recommend getting the smaller of the two. I didn't the first time, and the front panels were far too long, so I reordered it again at the next smaller size after I returned the first one. I am SO happy I did. I had lumbar laminectomy [L3-L5] & a partial discectomy [L4] performed back in 2014, and because of that surgery I am not supposed to do any twisting movements from the waist while lifting, moving something etc. Well, human nature being what it is.. I tend to forget that sometimes, and I pay for it immediately! I have tried more braces than I care to count to help relieve the discomfort as well as support my back as it recovers from whatever dumb move I've made. This is the first brace that has made my spine feel normal and permit me to recover while still allowing me to be ambulatory! YAY! It fits nice and snug, so I can wear it under my shirt in public without anyone knowing I have a back brace on. For me that's a win-win! Highly recommend this brace for lower back [lumbar] issues. You won't be sorry you did!

Measuring is important! It was necessary to return my first purchase after following their sizing chart. For this brace to properly support your back you MUST stretch the main part of the brace as tightly as possible (the elastic is really firm so if your grip isn't great this one isn't for you) before then pulling the outer straps tight. If you don't or can't do this you won't get the right support and the brace will ride up. This brace is SO comfortable for me and supports exactly as I've needed when my L5/S1 fused area is complaining. I can still bend but with support. The value is awesome! It does the job of way more expensive versions. I recommend.

VERY supportive and just as good as two others that insurance paid for after two lumbar back fusions. I like that it doesn't have the large plastic plate in the back so it is easier to hide under shirt when outside working in the yard. Great color also to blend with clothing. Like pouch for ice back which I use 2 times a day. As with all back braces they get tiresome after a while and you need to sit down, take it off and take a break. I always wear a back brace to sweep the house and you should too.

I love this back brace’s quality, price & functions, it is easy to put on, very well packaged with instructions inside the plastic. I enjoy the bonus of the cold, or heat pad bag if I can call it that! I enjoy a lot, adjusting the firmness, or back support that happens when you pull the two thin straps, that’s MY FAVORITE part of this brace, I will not give a fake review, and I also BELIEVE Pain Relieve should not be an option on this review. I believe braces provide therapeutic SUPPORT, & by support many times pain can be forgotten, or muted a bit, but ONLY Physical therapy, medicine & or surgeries can provide pain relief. I am a 5 year Pain Management patient, & a disabled veteran with multiple Cervical & lumbar discs messed up, so I know what takes care of my pain, & that is my injections. And this is Just my honest opinion, am not an expert, ok. AND I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS BACK BRACE to anyone!!

I work retail so I'm standing all day. I ordered this brace to help with lower back pain. It works wonders. Without it, I would always come home in pain. But now, I can make it through the day almost pain free. I take off the brace and my back feels fine. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who needs some extra support or to relieve pain from being on your feet all day etc. The only negative thing I have to say would be on the line of comfort: it IS comfortable, but with my particular build and size (I had to order an xs), sometimes it will dig into the sides of my hips which can be uncomfortable and almost painful at times. It is more so bothersome than painful, though it can hurt after a while. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say, and I highly recommend this brace to anyone struggling with lower back pain.

I’m a 52 year old woman who has had back pain for the last couple of years. I finally decided to look into getting some kind of a support belt........I am SO glad I did!! This is the first support belt I’ve ever had and I am very impressed! I don’t know how it does it.....but it knocks out most of my back pain! I love it!! My back pain without the belt (on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the worst) is about a 6.....but with the belt it’s a 2 or a 1. I was wearing it under my shirt....but after about 3 days of this....I started feeling like my skin was hurting from any friction it causes due to moving around all day.....but I was just wearing it up against my bare skin. So I put on a tank top first....then put the belt on....then my shirt. What a great comfortable difference that made! My husband is going to order one for himself and my mom is as well. I feel like it’s “back support with benefits”....lol....and the other benefit would be that it holds in my gut too....lol.
