Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable. 3. Transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough. Note: A transformer that is too large for the load may overdrive the lamps which will shorten their life spans. I added 16 of these fixtures around my deck at its perimeter steps. They are built well, the quality is top notch, they are easily wired, and the 3000K color is nice and warm. The only issue I had with these lights is that they were too bright for for my taste. Although you'll find in the comment section that the Seller has stated that they are not dimmable (which is true by conventional means), they can be dimmed by adding a simple DC to DC voltage regulator between the lights and your 12V transformer. I used the "DROK Waterproof DC Buck Converter Voltage Regulator 8-22V to 1-15V 5V 12V 3A Adjustable Output Power Supply Transformer" found here at Amazon ($17). It worked perfect. I can dim them down to basically off, or crank the voltage up to full-on 12V. ... show more

They look great. The finish is a very dark bronze -- almost black. Very classy. Installation requires 12 gauge wire for the T-clips which come with the lights. Smaller wire will not clip properly. Recommended.

Loved these lights. Easy to install flush to surface and match the Trex perfectly. Wish I purchased them sooner. Took all of 20 minutes to install these 4 lights. Drilled 1/4" hole and fished the wire to an existing 12V transformer feed.

I purchased this product back in Sept 2020. Actually, got three sets. We love the lights - and, especially the 10-year warranty. Now, one of our lights don't work. I ended up contacting the company's sales department. After some clarification they were able to identify my issue and responded by replacing the damaged light This is the kind of response I was hoping for. Now, my lights are all back on ... show more

I really love these lights. They fit under the lip of a step. Just drill one hole behind the light to run the wire through. I also put one on the siding at the top stoop that lights the entire area. I like the brightness but did buy the dimmer a reviewer recommended that I may wire in later. Saved over $4000 over a pro installation. I already had a good 12 volt transformer so just needed 2 sets of lights and wire. Good easy connectors make this a snap to do. Highly recommended. ... show more

So much easier to install than the old deck lights requiring surgery with a jigsaw. Plus the advantage of LED’s for less power drain and longer lasting lamp life. Also it includes a very effective wire connector that really works! Very pleased.

    • Beautiful Deck Lighting
These light up our deck beautifully! Our electrician installed them for us. They go on at dusk and stay lite for 9 hours. I was apprehensive about the bronze color since our deck has black furniture, but they blend in perfectly as they look almost black. For our 5 steps we installed two on the slanted railing board and that lights up the stairs nicely. Definitely recommend and would buy again. My only complaint was that three of the lights didn’t work but didn’t return since we bought 3 sets and had extras. ... show more

Installed these in my raised garden beds and love them. I did however color correct the 3000k to 2700k with some theatrical color correction gel and was able to place this inside the fixture so that it should remain in place during the entire life of the fixture.
