Easy to assemble, and for once I was glad there were a few pieces to assemble because you can add an optional piece to extend the height. Really high quality and I like the look of it as well. I like that it comes with multiple attachments for different types of mics. I wanted a yeti mic off-screen but within good audio distance on zoom and this works well. I've ordered a second one for my audio book recording area so I can have one pre-set for my desk set up and one pre-set for a standing area (attached to a high closet shelf).

At this price point I see no actual cons, the boom arm is sturdy and holds its position well. The riser is perfect for my desk set up where the arm is coming from the back side up to the front, I was able to use the riser where it mounts to the desk to elevate the boom arm a bit and keep it out of my way when I need to access my audio interface. The only complaint I MAYBE could have is that it is a bit shaky, but for me that isn't much of a concern.

I purchased this arm & the cmteck low profile arm at the same time. The build quality seems great with both of them. The range of motion is a little better with the cmteck arm but nothing that should really matter. Even though this arm has cable management (built in clips) it doesn't include a cover for the bottom side of either arms so if you have your upper arm raised you see the concave structure & cable. And looks wise I liked the cmteck arm more. Both are very nice especially at less than $40

This works great for my Shure Beta SM58A vocal mic. I purchased an Adjustable Mic Clip Holder in addition to the Boom Arm. If you using an a heavy duty vocal mic with an XLR cable hooked up to Audio Input device, I would recommend getting an Adjustable Mic Clip holder too (For the Extra Adjustment and support of the mic). I spent a lot of time looking at different Low Profile Boom Arms on here. Paying close attention to negative reviews of various arms. I was little nervous about getting something would break on setup. No regrets! Zero Regrets with this purchase. There are clearly reasons why this Arm is listed as an "Amazon Choice" item. My first experience with desktop mounted boom arms, was not a good one! This Arm has no noisy springs. It has a solid fitting clamp. Easy to put together and use. I'm attaching a some pictures of it setup at my desk, along with product picture of the Adjustable Mic Clip I purchased to go along with the Prizmora. My advice to anybody buying a Boom Arm is to invest in higher quality clamps/clips for whatever you plan on hooking up. Especially ones that provide extra adjustments and heavy duty support. The Boom Arm is Awesome and I have Zero Regrets in this purchase.

I needed something quickly while travelling and normally use one of several fully articulating arms like the Rode PSA's and a few others. This does exactly what I needed. It is stable and works very well. I am currently using it with an SM58 and a shock month but expect it would do equally well with one of my heavier shock mounted condensers or an SM7B or RE20. The cable clips tucked up into and accessible from the bottom of the arms are a nice unexpected touch. There are two of them. I don't use mics with headphone outputs on them but assume the second track is likely for running a headphone cable back from the mic. Again a nice, well thought out touch. I think this arm is high quality and good value. I would purchase it again.

This mount looks great, assembly is easy, sold build. I use a Rode Podmic USB. The mic is pretty heavy and the arm holds the weight just fine. The cable management is great and hides the cable seamlessly. Highly recommend.
