    • Handsome bag, well made, great pockets, not good for toting a lot of stuff.
I purchased the upgraded 15.6” bag in heather grey. Handsome, well made bag. The storage pockets are wonderful. Cons: the metal frame opening does add weight to the bag, and it doesn’t hold as much as my other backpack with a more standard design. It’s a little too tight on storage for me to fit my lunch bag, laptop, sweater and the other items I carry to work. But it’s holds enough for my weekends, as long as I’m not running errands which involve carrying heavy groceries (I live in NYC, and rely on public transportation and walk everywhere.) I still highly recommend this bag. Just keep in mind that it won’t be your everything bag if you commute to work using public transportation, and are toting everything on your back. Regarding the laptop sleeve: My 13” MacBook Air does just fit, with no room to spare. I will reiterate, this bag is good looking, and has all the storage pockets I could ever wish for. If you want to carry a lot of stuff and don’t mind the added weight of the metal frame opening, I’d recommend the 17” size for this bag. ... show more

    • Such a great work bag
I was on the hunt for a new work bag for a long time. I love the look of this one (I got the quilted black w/ gold zippers). It's super functional, with a pocket for pretty much everything. I love that it has a flat bottom and is well-structured so it will actually stand upright on surfaces. I love the water bottle pockets on each side. I like how the zippered opening at the top is structured to help it stay open when loading/unloading. I like that I can comfortably carry it with the small handles at the top, but also have the option to throw it over my shoulder with the backpack straps. I like having the option of the in-line charger cable. The padded pocket is plenty big for my laptop, though most often I'm only using it for my ipad. I have plenty of space in the bag to put my lunch bag and other miscellaneous items I might bring to/from the office. I use this primarily for work, but I could see myself using it when travelling and I like that it has the sleeve on the back to securely sit on top of a suitcase. It is a great bag with a LOT of storage space. The side pockets are great as well. It stands on its own, which is a plus. The zipper is durable as well. Cons...the handles at the top are kinda small. If they were an inch longer my arm would fit into them so I could carry it on my arm. The backpack straps are a tad short. I found that if I loosen the black straps it looks weird and feels awkward. I bought this bag to use as a backpack but the straps are just weird. But for the price and going back an forth to work when I am not working from home, it'll do. ... show more
