This bag is very smart looking, and arrived in very good condition. However, if you look very carefully at the description, you might notice there are 2 different heights, 0.9" different. The offset is between the upper lip and the height of the zipper, when zipped. I can not zip the compartment closed when it is carrying my music folder, which is the same dimensions as a 1", 3-ring notebook. So, the security of the contents (hymn book and folder) is lost. The accompanying clutch purse is nice; it holds my wallet, glasses in case, and keys. I'm not risking my phone!. Despite my gripes, I still like the look of this. Oh, I forgot to mention that the stated weight of 3 pounds doesn't seem like mutch, but put in a hymn book, music folder, and wallet, and you will know you're carrying something. I'm initially trying carrying without the shoulder strap because I don't want it clunking against my hip. I await the experience. Walking back on my criticism of zipper. In a "Bang my head against a stone wall" mood, I decided that this stubborn bag was going to zipper! I removed the clutch (which had my stuff in it), removed the unused shoulder strap, tucked the handle of my folder as flat as it could against the spine; then, muscling the edges of the zipper together, I got it to close!! Don't know if I can repeat; but I didn't break the zipper; and closed it really, REALLY looks chic!

I purchased this laptop handbag.Because I was tired of carrying a purse and a laptop container and a lunch bag. This handbag is almost perfect. It has an inside elastic holder for my coffee cup and plenty of room for a small container of food. The only thing I would change is that it's just a little too big. There is way too much room for the small laptop that I have. I wish they would have made a smaller version.This wayI could have measured my laptop and purchased the smaller one. This is a large bag, and it is a little bulky. I like the color and I like the quality of the material and I like the fact that it stands up when you place it on the counter. The color is very stylish and i've received several compliments. This handbag is very functional, and I do recommend it. The strap goes comfortably on my shoulder.And I can hold it under my arm.
