I am thrilled with this purchase. The separate laptop sleeve makes this backpack perfect for business and personal travel. For longer trips, I can fit headphones, tech case, toiletry case, travel blanket, travel pillow, and purse. If I don't need the pillow, I can also fit a small bag with a change of clothes (but not shoes). The wide mouth makes it really easy to get things in and out of the bag. There are ample pockets (well covered in the product description) for smaller items. The charge port is towards the top, so it's easy to get to even when the bag is full, with a pocket at the bottom on that side to hold your battery box in place. The outer sleeve easily fits my 15x10" laptop and iPad air 2, with a sturdy velcro strap to hold them from being jostled, with padding on both the computer pouches inside the sleeve as well as on the outer wall of the backpack. There is ample outer storage as well, with 2 of them zipper pockets "hidden" by flaps, which maintains the sleek look of the bag. The material is water resistant, easy to wipe down without messing it up. The back is mesh (cooler on your back for carrying), with a luggage trolley strap. The backpack straps are adequately padded and easily adjustable, but there's no chest strap. My only negative comment is that there's no place to stow the straps for hand-carrying - but that's an aesthetic rather than functional issue, so no dinging on star ratings, when I can just tuck the straps into the trolley strap. The carry handles on top are formed (thicker than just cloth handles) and rounded, with a snap to hold them together, all making it easier on the hands when the bag is heavy. The bag is very pretty, with nice contrasting metal (bright gold on black), but not too much of it. It fits nicely into my simple taste for bags, while allowing me a bit of fashion.

After reading lots of these reviews, I got the 15.6" upgrade for international travel. I had been searching for the perfect travel bag for a long time and I'm so glad I took a chance and ordered it. I was hopeful, yet skeptical that it would be good quality, as organized as it seems in the add, AND the answer to my travel bag needs. It's everything I hoped for and more! It's lovely. The fabric does not look cheap. There are more zipped compartments than you can keep straight in your mind once you fill them. The single biggest selling feature for me is two things: the main compartment since it's top zip and large. When it's open you can see everything but it won't fall out. The other selling feature is the thinner, zipped compartment against your back. This back compartment opens in a way that everything is visible, but secure, and most importantly, it will keep items zipped up, tight against my back. This will give me peace of mind in crowded trains, buses, etc. I have searched and I cannot find any other bags with this large, well designed back zip compartment. The only teeny weenie thing I don't love about this beautiful bag is the gold zippers. I wish they were silver or black and a smidge better quality. Get this bag!!! You will be soooooo glad you did!

This bag is amazing- purchased the 17" upgrade and the 15.6 inch upgrade. I am a teacher and the large one works great to hold my necessary books, laptop, folders, etc. Seems really sturdy and use the 15.6" for my work at the hospital to carry my nursing supplies, lunch, etc. Both hold a large water bottle on the side. Only thing I could see for improvement would be- one side pocket does not need slit for kleenex as I do not use it for that and other things can fall out. Other downside as others have mentioned- front pocket zipper should be a double zipper so you can open from the top and not have stuff fall out the side due to the zipper starting at the bottom.. Thinking of purchasing another- just for fun!

I bought this bag to replace my purse/travel bag. I like it for your day to day use as a purse. I also like it as like a backpack/laptop bag. I took it on a staycation for Thanksgiving and was able to fit a lot inside. I like the deep pockets inside for storing my Chromebook, Kindle and or a journal and a book to read. I was able to fit two bottles of water, a few feminine products, and a bottle of perfume. In the smaller pockets in the front I usually carry my phone charger, a power bank, keys, and identification. What I like most about it is the thick straps and how much weight they're able to support. This bag is good for either a purse, a carry-on, a quick overnight bag, or even a light backpack for school. I purchased the largest size in black. Trust me this is a beautiful bag and can last a long time if you take care of it well.

I LOVE this bag! I got the 17inch not upgraded and it's amazing! It already has so many pockets I didn't need to upgrade to two more. It's a quality item. I purchased it to use for overnight work trips to keep snacks, shower stuff, a change of clothes, ipad, and other work items in. The study pull open top makes it SO easy to find what you need without having to dig. I personally chose to cut cardboard and cover with duct table to place down at the bottom of the bag for a sturdy base so the bag stands on its own when empty and that worked great! you could easily use this for a weekend bag or carry on, there is so much room!

I have been using book bags for my computer and work gear . I am a trainer so I have a variety of items and things I like to have .. some extra tops, personal care , computers keyboard , books .. Al lost in other bags This is sturdy enough that my laptop separate keyboard & work note book all in a compartment separated not squished Mid area I have a portable speaker, another notebook for current class I am taking along with back up batters charging cords , lacross ball a couple of band. And my wallet ( all visible) Another compartment I have work shorts Another compartment deodorant small items , snacks Sides hold 64 oz water bottles I donโt write reviews often.. rarely .. but this bag has been great . No more dark compartments digging through
