I saw that some bags had a zipper lock on them, but mine did not. That does not bother me though, as it could be because of the size I got and I didn't buy it because of the locks any way. Love this backpack. It is very smart looking. Well made. The outer side pockets hold large water bottles. It very securely holds my Yeti 18oz Rambler. It's hard to find a laptop backpack that will do that. I put this backpack on and take it off and my water bottle never fell out. There are so many zipper pockets, it was a learning curve figuring out and remembering what pockets I was designating for what items. But I prefer too many to not enough. Just easier to stay organized. Many of the pockets were hidden which is great for theft prevention. My one complaint, or rather suggested improvements to this backpack are: 1. the size of the non-laptop and laptop compartments need to be reversed. The laptop compartment is about 5 inches wide. The non laptop pocket is envelope width. That is a pocket where I would typically put a sweater, or a book, or purse type items. I ended up putting those items in the same pocket as my laptop. Not many things you can put in an envelope width pocket. 2. I wish it had a couple of key leashes. There were none. 3. The anti theft pocket in back opened from the side. Wish it opened from the top. Still, all in all, this is a superior, functional and attractive backpack. Great for travel. ... show more

I don’t usually buy new bags. But this one seemed so very perfect for a longer trip I recently had to take for work. It has pockets on top of pockets—-and more pockets after that. It held up well. I liked the charging port area. But know that even though it comes with the cord to attach to your own external power battery, you also need your own cord to plug into their plug and feed it through the opening. Using this backpack for travel. Love the lock on it, easy for me to change the number to one I will remember. So many useful pockets and love the strap to put it on the handle of my suitcase. It is everything I needed in a backpack! It has the right amount of pockets. I fit my laptop and my iPad in the padded space provided and they both fit perfectly. Also, the backpack stays up without leaning forwards or backwards. I am beyond excited about this purchase.

It’s got tons of pockets. This is very structured even completely empty It holds its shape. I bought this for nursing school, It keeps my laptop secured all my books …compartment for pens, easy front access pockets and lots of little hidden pockets all around the bag. I often have a 20 ounce canteen in one cup holder and a coffee Tumblr in the other, I’ve been using it for about a year and it’s held up great & will likely last several more years. only problem is it feels heavy, but I also carry tons of stuff in it. This backpack is perfect for work. I have to haul around several laptops and tablets at a time and this backpack has more than enough space. The straps are nice and wide and don’t dig in when you have a lot of stuff inside. I love all of the pockets so I can nicely organize my things and easily access them.
