This product has exceeded my expectations. I have used it a few times now and it has worked flawlessly. It takes a bit of time getting used to the depth measurement but once you get the hang of it I found it is very precise. I used cheap bits from harbor freight and they have worked well with this product. The vacuum attachment completely removes all dust but can get in the way of changing out bits. I taped my vacuum hose to the outlet while working and there wasn't a spec of sawdust in my garage. I can't believe the price for such an awesome product. Love it. Powerful and comfortable after 2 years of regular use. The only downside is that the screw holes for the base plate won’t line up with any standard plate so you need to make your own, but with a little time and effort this is not a problem. If not For that I’d give it 5 stars. I like the easily controllable speed by altering your pressure on the button. ... show more

It get the job done like I may need to return it started to spark inside but still working no reduce in speed work well with router bits when making Dado and tenrecs and mortis joint and trim detail over all so fore good working

    • I think this router is fine for the price.
Came ahead of time packaged well. The plunge mechanism was smooth and the motor worked. I have not actually used it yet and have never used a router. I thought this economically priced router would be a good starter router for an older diyer.

    • For the price... what's not to love?
I've put off owning a router for years because of the high acquisition cost. I bought this one along with a nice set of carbide bits and paid just a bit over $100 for both. I used it to round the edges on a project made from plywood and it did a fabulous job. It's a bit heavy, the adjustment knobs are a little small and hurt the fingers when tightening. But overall it did a repeatable job and it cut as expected the first time it was set up. The only thing I could wish for would be a storage case for the tool and it's accessories.
