My house conveniently has five different types of air filters, so I'm always on the lookout for convenience and economic savings. I've been happy with these air filters; it's a four-pack, though I wish there were options that would last me the whole year. Admittedly, I'm not as diligent as some people when it comes to changing them out—I typically do it every two to three months instead of every month as recommended. However, I've found that even when we change them monthly, they're not any dirtier than the ones we change every three months. So, I believe these filters do a good job of collecting dirt. Living in a dusty area, it's essential for us to have a good air filter. I prefer the MERV 8 rating, as I've heard that having a really high MERV rating can sometimes inhibit your air conditioning from working efficiently because it's too restrictive. But it's essential to do your research and find out what would be best for your home.

I had a tremendous problem with dust throughout the house utilizing the old filters and was hoping this change would make a difference. I have had to dust the house 2-3 times per week just to see the top of my furniture. After replacement, I now dust once every month and the air no longer has particulates floating around.
