The coins were of mixed quality. However, many of them were in good enough shape that you could read the inscriptions. Very cool. Reading the many complaints, I think the buyers expectations are unreasonable if they think they are going to get one a pristine as what is in the picture. Sorry, but it is just common sense that they are going to show the best example they have. To expect that you are going to get museum quality coins for the small amount of money paid is a bit much. I think the overall value of what I received was well worth the price. I will most likely buy another lot because they were so cool.

i got these today and well pleased with shape they in! real thing 1700 years old. 2 of the 10 will be work to identify but others will check on computer pictures of rulers. they are going into 2-2,s. some of these will be a present to my grandson who is on his third tour of duty in africa after iraq and aftaghanistan. he got his masters in vocational rehabilitation between tours and is a oregon medal champion in ju jitsu mma and placed 3rd at interanational meet in las vegas. learning russian now and starting spanish and german next. him and a friend in service are studying roman history which i didnt know. about when ordering these coins. birth day 7-13-1990. have silver coins to mix in +old 1500,s-1700,s so american coppers. he is turkish, portuguese,united kingdom, great looking and single lol!! happy grandpa 76 years old

This was very disappointing. I'm not a collector but thought it would be fun to identify the coins by the emperor's face. I doubted the coins would meet the level of the picture shown but this batch of ten coins does not have enough detail to identify anything. I doubt there is a single letter on any of the coins that can be read and the emperor's faces are just blobs. I paid $65.00 for 10 chewed up worthless pieces of metal. I have no doubt that they are very old, its just that they are not close to what was pictured and totally lacking in value or interest. What a rip-off. Just a way for a dealer to dispose of worthless culls to the gullible public.

Each coin was different. Each had a head or bust on them....they all were worn but nice in reguard to thier ancient usage.

Coins arrived on time and as described. Ten different types were sent, look to be dated around 300-500AD. All about the size of a dime, cleaned and mostly readable but some very worn, but that was expected for age and price that I paid. They came in just a plastic bag with no paperwork. Given as a present, the person was very thrilled and enjoyed looking up information about them over the internet. Would highly recommend.

The coins are pretty much what I expected to see. Don't expect to find rare beauties at .$3.35 each. I've not had time to identify the lot. They appear to be 4th century bronze.
