Hubby works nights, and has tried this camera for a few weeks. It has a flashlight option, which is handy. The picture quality is good. I would like it if the battery lasted longer, after a few hours it needs to be recharged.

Bodycams have always interested me, especially in these days of needing to be safe and having the "pictures are worth a thousand words" backup, in this case video. The unit is decent in size and lightweight. Even though its’ bulky look to it, it’s quite small and not overly big… It has night vision, which works very well. Records using a couple of methods, manually on the unit or using the remote, which can be better if you don’t want it recording constantly. I start recording when I reach a customer’s place, and that saves space, even though you have a 64GB card, depending on your resolution, can eat up space. I like the clip-on feature, it works well with a pocket, and it does stick out like a sore thumb, but then you want that to be a deterrent to anyone who might think of being out of pocket. This unit is the smallest of card sizes, and it comes in larger sizes and the price reflects that too. This one is actually a very good deal for all that it does. It comes with a base charger and has 2 ports for charging and data retrieval, USB C, and a Micro-USB. Great options for any solution to charging or getting your videos off the unit. Has a remote control too, and that is a handy thing, as mentioned earlier. I just put mine in my pocket and after I know which one records, I can press it without anyone being wiser. A good safety feature if you don’t want to look obvious. You also have many options of getting your video, using the cord for the PC, taking out the card and using a card reader too. Pretty straightforward video options when connected to the device itself and the PC. This Bodycam has made things much safer for me, at least in the sense of being able to prove situations when they occur. I can recommend this one for sure. Currently priced at 129.99, and that is a steal for peace of mind.

This product was easy to set up and learn how to use. I can download the videos and photos on my iMac with ease. However, I find the photo and video quality to be very poor regardless of the settings I use or whether I am moving or motionless. The remote control was dead on arrival so I changed the battery. Following instructions in the manual I tried to pair it with the camera to no avail. The light on the remote control came on if I kept the button pushed down. Otherwise it did nothing. For my purposes this body camera doesn’t perform as needed.

The media could not be loaded. This Body Cam has SO many uses. Of course it can be used for security, law enforcement, surveillance BUT I used it in a pilot production. Unfortunately, it's proprietary footage that can't be shared but we used it on a "bike cop" character with lights flashing at one point, which looked great on camera. I also used this cam at a team building event. It was so easy to capture candid footage and conversations from many angles because the long clip also doubles as a kickstand for the camera so we just moved it around the banquet hall. Btw, everyone knew the camera was rolling. Even though this unit has a stealth mode, I've yet to use it. We pulled valuable footage and stills to help our people level up their skills by observing themselves and others as they presented their material and during other skills building exercises. Here's more reasons why I like this unit: 1- Compact durable design. 2- Good accessories: detailed user manual, USB cable AND adapter, 2 clips - 1 long, 1 short for mounting on body, backpack, table, dash... 3- Two ways to view contents: 2" 4:3 on-board playback screen or connect to PC, laptop, etc. 4- SO many functions: photo, video, audio only, zoom, video lock, secret mode, siren ( sounds pretty good on the attached video but it's a little cheesy when live), laser, red/blue flashing lights, button sounds, high powered IR up to 32' in pitch black, manual or auto, password protect files options, white light... 5- Multiple modes: dash cam, auto shut-off, power on/standby, timer options of 5, 10, or 15, pre-record mode of 22-30 seconds, depending on video resolution of 1296, 1080 or 720P. 6- Takes less than 5 hours to fully charge and supposedly has a 13-hr. run time. I've only used it for 6 hours straight and I was good. 7- Compatible with Windows systems XP forward and Mac 10.5 and above. So...at this price point, this Losfom WD4 1296P Body Camera is a steal. The only drawback I will mention is that, while it's great to have a 64GB memory in this little powerhouse, it's internal, not an SD card, therefore not replaceable. So I'm hoping it lasts for a long time; it's only covered by a 1-yr. warranty.

I am hesitant to review items like this because they start out working really well and then stop working about 6 months later. So, I just may come back and update this review later. That being said, this Losfom WD4 1296P Body Camera is awesome and so far so good. • Straight-forward and easy to read manual • Great picture and audio quality. • Easy access to and use of controls. • Screen to preview without hooking up to computer. • Lightweight • And it works as described
