I do not say that lightly. I have thin, almost blonde lashes. I have tried at least 50 different mascaras - that is not an exaggeration. I've tried cheap, middle of the road and very expensive brands - several kinds of each brand. I've bought from drug stores, department stores, high end makeup distributors...you name it. I've managed to find a few that do an OK job and at least make me look like I have lashes. I've never had lashes like this. This mascara is absolutely amazing. It lengthens, thickens and has a nice color. I haven't even mentioned the applicator brush! It perfectly applies the mascara without clumping or skimping. I hate having to wipe most of the mascara off a typical applicator brush just to use it. I'm sorry, I'm a bit too shy to post before and after pictures. But as a long time dreamer of even normal lashes, trust me when I say my search is complete. My lashes look awesome. I've had people comment. Who comments on lashes? This is just 2 coats. It's amazing. It's so easy to put on and the brush is great. BUT, L'Oreal needs to figure out a formula to make their product last longer. Literally within a few uses the mascara starts to dry up and gets flakey. It actually becomes uncomfortable by the end of the work day. I found this to be true with the Lash Paradise as well. This is a great mascara. I was hesitant to try a new mascara since i've had great results with the Loreal Carbon Black Voluminous Mascara but, since I had been using that one for around 15 years I thought I'd try a change. So far, I get compliments on this mascara every time I use it. The length it provides cannot be beat, even by the very expensive Monsieur Big mascara from Ulta. The microbrushes on the wand really do live up to their name and pick up every little eyelash you have, looking like you have a million at the end! The volume is definitely less than with my old Voluminous mascara, but the effect is equally stunning because of the length you get with this one. I will defiinitely buy again. ... show more

This is not a L'Oreal product. I have purchased the real Voluminous Million mascara through the store and this is not it. I would like a 100% money back return (I will mail back the mascara if needed). I am very sensitive to certain product and this mascara burned my eyes and caused them to become very watery!!!! The package was opened when received and it seemed like someone re-glued and package back together (since there was a good amount of glue on the package and it did look tampered with). I love it! When looking at the mascara selections I decided I wanted to try something new. I refuse to pay $30+ dollars for the high end brands since, over the years, I have found the moderate brands to be every bit as good if not better than some of the others I tried. Not having tried the L'Oreal mascara I decided, given the reviews, to give this one a try. Great Choice. It is so easy to apply without getting globs of it on my lashes. I had no problem with it smearing on the bottom under the lashes or, as long as I didn't look straight up, it dotting the upper lid either. Really made my lashes look long and thick, too. I use an electric lash curler in the wand style to curl my very long but straight lashes. Wow, did this every hold the curl. Put me down on the "fan" list. ... show more

I purchased the Voluminous Million Lashes, Blackest Black(waterproof) mascara. It works beautifully after 2 coats, so far so good. this is my first day using this mascara and I love it! , definitely will buy again.

The pic with the wording going all the way to the cap is the original product. My product doesn’t match, the photo on Amazon or any other products on L’oreal’s Website. It’s awful, clumps, smudges, flakes and weighs down my lashes so the don’t stay curled. BUYER BEWARE!

Based on a you tube video of a makeup artist, I combine this with Cover Girl Lash Blast. The L'Oréal goes on first. Then I apply the Lash Blast on top using the wand to push up and curl the lashes. This 12ish dollar combo works better than 32 dollar upscale products lines in my opinion.
