I love my new sink! I went from a double cast iron sink to this single sink and I’m still amazed at how big it is. The color is gorgeous, the gold really goes beautifully with the brown marble countertops. The three add ons - the dish drainer, the cutting board, and the vegetable trap are incredibly useful. I have found so many other uses for the vegetable trap besides cutting veggies and pushing them into this container. I tend to keep it on the sink and I put my fancy crystal glassware in there to dry instead of putting them on the dish drainer which I keep on the sink all the time. There are two things I needed to get used to but it’s now just part of my routine when I do dishes. First off, the sink comes with a metal protector rack to keep on the bottom of the sink to prevent dishes from sitting directly in the sink. This also needs to be cleaned off on a regular basis. It’s the same size as the sink so it doesn’t fit in a dishwasher and it’s not super easy to clean; you do need to use a cloth for each rung of that thing. The second thing is the sink doesn’t have your typical indentation near the drain so that when you are spraying food particles into the drain, it’s more difficult and time consuming because you don’t have the advantage of that “dip” to help. I do need to pick up that metal pad, take it out of the sink, and manually push everything down the drain with a sponge instead of just relying on the faucet spray. No big deal. Would definitely buy this again if I need another sink some day.

Nice sink, good quality. Install easy, hold down clamps difficult because sink is deep and fills the opening leaving no room to install the clamps. I used silicone and limited number of clamps ( the ones I could install), the sink is installed solid and is not moving.

The 16 gauge metal of this sink is very stiff and strong. The bottom doesn’t move at all, very solid. The last bit of water drains slowly and leaves large droplets that can cause water spots if you have minerals in your water. A bit more slope in the bottom would be an area of improvement. Removing the bottom grid to wipe off the droplets is annoying. I think it is there to prevent scratches from heavy pots and pans so that may be all we use it for, storing the grid otherwise. The double ledge for the cutting board and colander, that I originally thought was a great idea, is a double edged sword. It works very well to slide the colander partially under the cutting board to scrape peelings into, etc. But the single ledge version probably works almost as well when butted next to the cutting board at the same level, especially since the cutting board is thicker than the lip on the colander. There are two problems with the double ledge version. Since the ledge does does not, and probably can not, extend all the way to the corner, the colander tends to drop off the end of the ledge if you push it too far. This is because the colander has a be a bit smaller to tip into the lower ledge. This is just a matter of geometry. The result of the smaller dimension is that the metal lip of the colander does not sit fully on the ledge and tends to drop off the ledge into the sink. Apparently the manufacturer is aware of this problem and attempts to address it by adding the black plastic corner pieces that can be slid out to effectively widen the colander. This works, for the most part but requires occasional adjustment because they are only held in place by friction. But, if you push the colander too far towards the end of the sink, the plastic corners drop off the end of the ledge. A better solution would be for the manufacturer to use a full length plastic strip on the edge instead of the short corner pieces. The other problem with the short ledge is that when the cutting board is tight to the end, it tends to tip up if you push down on it where it is not supported by the ledge. The solution is to move the board away from the end enough so it is supported it’s full width. The colander that comes with this sink is quite large, about half the width of the sink. It might be fine for a large family but it’s too big for just the two of us. It really needs to be stored when not actually needed because it takes up so much space that the sink is hard to use as a sink. Its overall size is about 17-1/2” x 16-7/8”. We would prefer one about the size of the cutting board that could be slid under the cutting board when not in use or at least take up less storage space when stored out of the sink but it doesn’t appear that the manufacturer sells a smaller one as a separate accessory, though it appears that they have them for smaller sinks. We have found a third party one that appears would fit. We would rather swap for a larger roll up drain rack and smaller colander. Overall, this is a good, solid sink and looks very nice, especially for the price and included accessories. It’s functional once you get used to its idiosyncrasies. I don’t know if the double ledge idea is living up to my expectations but it’s not a disaster either. I will probably cut a couple of full length teak strips to replace the plastic corners and see how that works.

we've only had this installed for about 2 weeks so i cannot speak on the longevity of the unit or how the finish holds up, However......the quality is nice on everything but the tray (which is "ok" but it was heavily bent and i had to reshape it). the sink itself is quite heavy and feels like it's excellent quality, the mounts are easy and secure it well. cutting board, drying rack and the bottom grate seem good quality. i did not use the drain, but it looked decent.
