Great fit
These are perfect fit for me. For reference I’m 5’4” and 125lbs with a fairly lean build. I struggle with shorts because I tend to find them too large at the leg opening or are falling down all together. I would say these are lightweight-medium thickness material that is stretchy (but not too much to say lightweight) and breathable. The roll at the bottom is sewn in a few places, not just the sides, which is awesome. They always unroll first wash and never go back to being a clean line, so I’m hoping the extra stitches will help with that. The pockets are in a good location. ... show more

I was disappointed that the color was darker than pictured, but I needed shorts quickly so I didn’t return them. XL fits me perfectly! The other reviews led me astray

Edit: I have gotten 3 pairs in XL and I wear these 3 years later and they hold up well. They are my favorite shorts. Great length and comfortable. They wash well. They fit perfectly! Honestly I don't understand the other reviews that said L fits perfectly. I'm still 5'8" 165 lbs. I even thought about getting a L just to see but still got another XL because that's what I wear and again, they fit perfectly and are flattering. I don't want them tight on my belly squeezing out my muffin top but maybe other people do. Every now and again I might wear a belt with it because it's a little loose if I go several wears without washing them, but they aren't falling off and I'd much rather wear a belt and have a flattering figure than have my fat squeezed out of my shorts at every angle. Original review: I like these shorts but are way too small. I got the same size other people with my height and weight got but they are just incredibly small. I'm 5'8" and about 165 and I got a large and I have to return to see how the XL fits. They are nice and thick material and soft as well, and I wish I didn't have to return and try again. This is how they came out of the package. Very disappointing. I’m returning because of the stitching. You can even see the bad stitching when they are zipped. Fit wise, they are slightly baggy but I already have issues finding shorts that fit in the waist AND are not huge in the legs. These are pretty decent for that, the leg holes on me aren’t as fitted as the model but they aren’t huge either. It was recommended that I order an XL so I did but I might try a large when I reorder - why is there no “exchange” option ever? ... show more
