For a 3~4 year old, I should of just gotten a childs department store begginer guitar for less than 1/4 the cost of this. Everything Loog is expensive and does not offer much by way of quality. My suggestion would be to start with something inexpensive to determine level of interest and then buy something of much better quality for the same price as this. This sounds like it would be ideal for the little one but it is basically a way overpriced toy.. Good Luck! ... show more

The guitar sounds good when connected to an amp although it needed a bit of a setup. Mine came with a short circuit when switching to the battery-powered amp. I live overseas so returning it is not an option. Since the entire electronics are on a PCB changing the switch is not an option, so I'll have to change the entire thing:, tone and volume knobs, switch and probably the led. The good thing is that we have 3 amps at home, the bad news is that they are quite loud and my son isn't exactly Mark Knopfler. Overall I think it's a great guitar, I just had bad luck. Great little guitar than sounds legit over an amp. For adults, this is a perfect fun little guitar. For small kids (I bought the smallest size) the taught metal strings make this fairly unusable by small hands.

Guitar is well made, but the app is terrible. Tech support said it won't work with my Samsung S20. A fix is supposedly in the works. Who would have thought someone would want to use a Samsung phone? Reviews for guitar are good, but wish I had gone the next step and checked the reviews for the app. They're awful, so it's not just me or my phone.
