I did a ton of research on which laser to purchase. I landed on choosing Longer B1 30W since the 40W could not be shipped to my location. So far I am super impressed with the device and how well it performs and how easy it was to setup and get using. Longer company has a ton of helpful documentation and their support help group is very responsive to any questions I have had. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone that enjoys laser engraving.

I’m using the B1 40W laser for a small business venture and I’m very happy with its performance so far. The assembly instructions weren’t great- I found a YouTube video that was very helpful. I use it with Lightburn software and am able to create several items per day. Also got the enclosure and have vented it with 4 inch dryer ducting to send the smoke/fumes outside. It’s working great. I had one issue that was quickly resolved by contacting customer support. Good quality machine, totally recommend.

I am used to CO2 lasers. Since I moved to a small space, this was a better option. The actual cutting area is bigger than my last CO2 machine. 40 Watts on this machine Cuts better, thinner and deeper than the 60 watt CO2 I last had. I registered light burn today after a 30-day trial. I like it better than the ruida software Overall this thing is a winner. The only change I would make is the thumb screws to raise and lower the laser head for different thicknesses of material. They are a little tough to get at and secure. A minor complaint, and I'm sure I will figure out a solution. I would recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this laser I have a 10W and the rotary from Longer and they work great. I wanted something that would work a bit faster. This 30W was a great choice. It's more accurate than a CO2 laser because the focus is pin point. Assembly is simple with with well fitted parts. Its easy to use and makes great cuts just like you would expect. I would buy this again. I would recommend this to other as well. Customer support replies within 24 hours.

Have been lasering for 4 years so I'm not new to this hobby. I purchased the Longer B1 40W this spring. Powerful machine that will cut all you need. 1 -Adjustment knob to raise/lower laser head is too small and located such that it is almost impossible to move. 2 -Laser head travels so fast when using Return to Finish Position in LightBurn, that it slips and loses x-axis coordinate position. Customer support suggested changes to LB settings which have nothing to do with the issue. I use the same settings on the 20W and it works fine. 3 -fire alarm kept going off, even when engraving at low power. I can deal with issues 1 and 3, but cannot get 2 addressed. If you use laser to make a few extra $$, then issues like this will bring fewer $$ into your pocket. Longer laser is good when it works. When having issues, difficult to get addressed.
