I've had this machine for over a year with very little problems I couldn't handle. This was an upgrade for me from another laser. This actually has some pretty decent power, I've cut through various 1/4" plywoods with ease and have even cut through some 1/2" plywoods with some patients! I've also have cut 3/4" solid pine, 1/2" solid black walnut and cherry. This machine does great engraving slate tiles as well! I also have used it to remove paint from stainless steel to create patterns for acid etching and have achieved great detail on small areas. I have also etched mirrors with great success! This machine has definitely proven its worth in my shop and I continue to push it's limits daily. There are a lot of these machines in the market and I chose this particular machine for its larger work area and for the design of the x-axis gantry, unlike many other machines the x-axis gantry is a lot more rigid than others and have almost no vibration even at higher speeds! I use this paired with lightburn software which I found was where most of my learning curve was. All in all this is a great laser for beginners and even more experienced people. I do recommend watching tutorials on how to use lightburn to be able to maximize results and just stay patient with the learning process.

So far it’s doing good, only used it a few times. Had XTool, it went down after a few times using it. After time after time trying to get support and getting the runaround, I sent it back. Hope this will be a different story. So far so good.

Size: Large Size Enclosure with Vent
The materials appear to be good quality. While I have not gotten to use it yet. I have assembled it. The reason for 4 stars is they have the wrong type of long screws in the kit. The screws are not fully threaded, so the instructions do not work in the written wall and pictured way. The screw needs to come from the outside in. It is a little more difficult because of the bracket and the wing nut but it's doable. The materials, price, and size make this a good buy. I have contacted customer support regarding this.

This laser for the price performs better than other brands Lightburn software is a free trial but it's worth getting.

The fan doesn't work. It was hard to align the design. The alignment doesnt stay where i wanted to be. It kept changing and i have to realign/readjust it. Hard to center the design even with the camera. Even after calibrating and did everything accordingly from the instructions. It was frustrating to use.
