I ordered this skirt mostly for the lightweight fabric, to wear on the hottest of summer days so that I can have the coverage I want without feeling like I have much touching me. This skirt was the answer. The waistband is stretchy so I can wear it on my natural waist or on my hips, and I love the length. The skirt is partially lined so you do not have to worry about the fact that the material is relatively see-through. I did not like how the sash/belt part looked on me, but that's not the fault of the skirt, just many many years of negative self-talk. I simply tucked the sash material up and over the top of the waistband to hide it. If I decide that I will not be wearing this as a dress (yes, you can do that too- and use the sash to create a halter) then I will carefully remove the sash material. I love the many color options available in this skirt, and I love how flowy it is. Size note- I am 5' 5", weigh 210. I purchased the size 16-20 Plus and it fits nicely. ... show more

Let's face it, a skirt on a 2x body isn't going to look like the one on the model. I'm a 1x-2x and there was extra stretch in the waist band, though I'm not sure the tie would sit well if I were much larger. The form-fitting section would look better on flat stomach are (not necessarily small, but flat). I'm 5-2, with a 27in inseam and this is a maxi skirt. The liner is useless. I'll be cutting it out and wearing my own slip. It's a sheer, white fabric that barely covers anything (and certainly doesn't cover the lycra shorts I wear under a skirt). My guess is the sewers added extra fabric width-wise for the larger pattern but didn't add any length-wise. Finally, my pattern is little off from the pics - like the skirt shown was cut on a bias and the one I got wasn't. I doesn't matter much because the blue is an all-over pattern but it might for the other colors. ... show more

It's not quite what I expected. It does not wrap at all. You slip it on and there is a tie. Fine, it is still lovely. But dang it is LONG! But that is coming from a short girl. I am 5'2" and this short girl is getting a couple inches taken off so it doesn't get absolutely filthy every time I where it. I swear it gets dirty when I THINK about wearing it! That's how long it is. All laughing aside, it is beautiful and I love that I don't have to worry about it being too sheer, because it isn't. I kept looking this way and that through different lighting and it has been fine. So now I don't worry. It does have this weird bit of linen lining or something but it is sewn upward, the opposite direction you would think, and is always crawling up. I cut it off. Carefully! But I cut it off. In less than a week. Yeah I voided being about to return it, didn't care. I planned on keeping it, I liked it that much. Even with having to pay a friend to cut it a little shorter. Short girl life. But the fit around the waist was as expected. The way is fit around my body was as expected. Other than not being a full or partial wrap. Just look at it this way, it's a no work skirt! Love these skirts. I bought 2 different ones this one and the peacock blue... They are see through but don't show anything, there is a small slip attached to the skirt. But they are very pretty, very comfortable. I am 5'10" & weigh 180. I got one size and it fits good, goes all the way to the top of my ankles. The waist is stretchy I thought it was a little tight but after 2 to 3 wears out of them, they have gotten looser. colors haven't faded I wash on cold hand wash.and hang dry. I just ordered another through a different company only just to see the difference. You well not be dissatisfied these are very versatile. Well worth the cheap price. ... show more

What a multi use skirt. It is perfect for a summer casual look with sandles and a t shirt. Or dress it up with high heels and a dressy blouse. Or another look, a beach dress. Simply pull it up over your chest. The elastic will stay in place over your bathing suit. The length is perfect for all. The elastic can be turned once for a short woman or the skirt or worn at waist if you are taller. If you feel like a boho look do sandles, a blouse, and a scarf. Or for an eclectic look, cowboy boots, a denim shirt, and a sleeveless t that matches the colors in the shirt. Truly a multi purpose skirt. Washes beautifully. I hand wash and spin, then hang to dry. It's beautiful, I really like it. It seems like a wide hem, or whatever it's called, so I can kick as high without the skirt stopping me. It's longer in the front and shorter in the back, not my favorite but definitely manageable. I'm 5'3 and bought one size. It's a bit small, but I can wiggle into it. It's very long, especially the front, so even if I'm wearing high shoes, I still step on it so I need to pull it up way past my waist. It would fit very well if you're slightly slender and taller (than me, at least). It gives off summer vibes, so I plan to wear it a lot this summer. I'll see how it holds up after that, and if all's good, I will definitely be making another purchase! The elephants are so cute;) +I forgot to say, but there is this badly made white lining underneath, I think it would be better to wear shorts underneath and cut it out. ... show more

I've sworn off pants thai summer so I needed some cheap but nice skirts to wear to work. These were exactly what I was looking for and they are pretty well made! They fit true to size and seem to have plenty of room actually so if you wanted to size down you probably could get away with that but I like my clothes kind of loose.
