I purchased the Loloi Darby Collection DAR-01 Charcoal/Sand Area Rug (6'-7" x 9'-3") a couple of weeks ago and I’m extremely happy with it. The rug looks even better in person than in the photos. I bought the Loloi Darby Collection DAR-03 Sand/Charcoal 6'7" x 9'3" area rug and I’m honestly really impressed with the quality. One of the biggest things I noticed right away: it unrolled completely flat. No creases, no curling edges, and I didn’t have to steam or weigh it down — which almost never happens with area rugs. It looked good literally the same day I set it up. The color is also exactly what I hoped for. The beige/cream base with the charcoal linear pattern gives a clean, modern look without feeling cold. It works really well in a neutral or modern space and makes the room look more finished without overpowering the furniture. It’s soft underfoot and feels substantial, not thin or flimsy. I recently purchased the 12' x 15' DAR-03 Sand/Charcoal rug along with a Mohawk 3/8" thick felt rug pad. Despite a few mixed reviews, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. The size is accurate and fits the space as expected. The rug arrived folded rather than rolled, but wrinkles have not been an issue. After less than 24 hours, the fold lines are barely detectable and are more noticeable in photos than in person. Additionally, any initial odor was minimal and has almost completely dissipated. I would say that the color is accurate. My rug is in a north facing room, so it may appear slightly darker than the Amazon photos. I appreciate the clean, modern design and warm, light shades. The charcoal lines add a bit of interest without being too busy. With the pad underneath, the rug feels very soft and comfortable. Given the price point, it has exceeded my expectations and I would certainly purchase it again. Durability is an unknown for now. Hopefully the rug will hold up over the coming months. For color reference, the couch is the Walsen model from a popular wh0ls@le store. ... show more

I will say the reviews did it justice. Thickness of rug was great for the price, I use a rug pad also, so even better. It would be fine without a pad though. However, you will want to use some grippers if you have tile. The rug went so well with my different colors of furniture. Colors are not muted. There was smell but not bad or strong, more like a new pair of shoes. All edges stayed down. But I used rug tape to make sure they stayed down. Took about 2 days to get all the folds to settle. I have a heavy duty vacuum with very strong suction and I had no problems with rug getting sucked up. I have had no shedding. If there has been it has been so minimal I can’t even tell. I reviewed at least 100 rugs over 3-4 months before I came across this one. Because I needed such a large area rug > 11 x 13, anything that said washable I didn’t even look at after a while, almost all the reviews said they were too thin. I hope this helps someone looking for a good quality rug. ... show more

Absolutely love it! Perfect size and feel so soft. I understand some people have complained about the smell, however- the smell is new carpet smell. Love this rug! It's soft and thick even without a pad, and easy to vacuum. It hides pet hair and light dirt very well. Colors are accurate. I was thrilled to finally find to an attractive modern neutral rug that doesn't have gray in it. Minus one star because the rug off-gassed and stunk so horribly for the first week that it was unpleasant to be in the room with it. A month later, after days of open windows and fans and air purifiers, it's hardly noticeable. I highly recommend having a plan for airing out both sides of the rug for at least a few days before placing it in a living area, if at all possible. ... show more

This rug is amazing! I usually don’t care for rugs but this one is a show stopper! It’s so soft, easy to clean, the corners lay flat and it doesn’t get sucked up into the vacuum! The price is good.
