I bought this for a friend that I have been teaching to play. Pros: The rubber is surprisingly spinny/tacky. The quality is pretty good for the price. Cons: It is pretty slow. There is hardly any feeling/control with this rubber, there is hardly any dwell time when you hit the ball. (This might be due to me using an all-balsa blade, but it should have a bit more control.) Conclusion: It is pretty good for $10 a sheet. It does not have enough control for a beginner to use well. I would only recommend this for someone who cannot spend more than $20 on rubber or to buy as a secondary racket, however something like Palio CJ8000 is $15 a sheet is much better for a beginner on a budget. ... show more

The performance won't blow you out of the water, but its got a strong price to performance ratio especially when compared to rubbers like Mark V and Sriver. Glue comes off the sponge fairly easily. Out of the pack has a bit of an odd chemical smell but this dissipates quickly, and is easier to deal with than the dead fish stench of Hurricane. Top quality ping pong surface material that performs well. Be aware that you need to order special tennis table paddle glue to affix this, though. (I didn't know this going in. First surface I've ever replaced! The glue is useful to have around if you have a table.) If possible, save the surface you're placing to use as a pattern so you know how to cut this one. Its says sticky in the name and it is not lying. This table tennis rubber is extremely sticky It is great for spin and control. The sponge is think but firm so you can use it to get some very fast play with a powerful and accurate forehand smash.
