The keyboard has a lot of great lighting modes if you use the ghub software, and the programmable keys are great and responsive. I think this keyboard is very good and the old keyboard I had was a logitech g710. Compared to it, it has one fewer programmable button, but offers rgb and a different feel. the g710 is a lot harder to clean, and this feels like it would be incredibly easy to clean since there are few places where your cheetos and grime can go. The keys can be taken off and put back on easily, and it has a great durable feel. The layout is great, and if you care about the sound of the keyboard, it has a quieter clicky sound when compared to other mechanical keyboards. It's not very loud but in the video you can hear how it is compared to the background noise of a fan across the room. Also in the video I'm showing off the echo press lighting mode, with #F66CC1 base and #FF009B pressed keys as the colours. It struggles a bit with displaying a nice pink, but most rgb things struggle with that or outright can't do it. The white on this keyboard is very blue leaning, which is probably why it can't do soft pinks very well, but it's still very capable of doing a good enough light pink. Great keyboard, works really well, only thing is it took a bit to get used to ESC being moved to the right and not in the standard location, besides that no complaints works really well, built well and feel great.

Everyone is crazy about this keyboard in black, and i just have to say it is also really really nice in white. My set up isn't themed or anything. black mouse, black case, etc. But the white version of this keyboard was 60 bucks less than the black when i got it so i thought it would be better to get a new game plus the keyboard instead of a black version. Man.. in retrospect, seeing it in person, i'm pretty much over the moon for the white one. I've already decided next paycheck i'm replacing my older g502 hero with the newer white g502. Aside from looks, this keyboard feels silky to type on. I never liked big clickitty clacky mechanical keyboards, always opting for laptop style chiclet keyboards like Apple has been selling for a while. These keys feel like the perfect in between. They have the structure and reliability of a mechanical keyboard, but the lower profile of thinner boards. I went into this purchase blind. I think if I saw this in person before i bought it, i would probably even get it at full price. ... show more

If you are as bad with perception as I am, and didn’t read the dimensions, then you’ll know that this is quite a long keyboard. If your desk space is limited, then this isn’t the most ergonomic option. That said, beautiful casing, wonderful build quality. I wish I didn’t have to return it. 4 stars because the cord on this thing is stiff and terrible. I don’t have to have a coiled cord, but if you’re going to offer a wired option on a keyboard as nice as this, why make the thing the most thick and unwieldy material possible? Upselling? No idea. But it really limits some of the already limited positions you can put it in (at least in my case) All in all I decided to send it back, mainly due to the size, but also just because it didn’t fit my setup as well as I’d hoped. But I’d definitely recommend this beautiful keeb to anyone looking for one - just as long as they have decent desk space. ... show more

Having previously used a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard for many years, I switched to a "real" gaming keyboard when my G15 started to fade out. That new one proved to have a fatal flaw, so I decided to just return to what I knew, and the G815 is honestly just about ideal for me in every possible way. I have never used a low profile keyboard on a regular basis before, so I was concerned that it might be a difficult adjustment, but it took almost no time at all. And as a bonus, I no longer need a wrist rest in front. As for the keyboard feel, it is a very light mechanical feel, and while it is not silent, it is quiet enough that I can use it for work & nobody notices. People used to hear my other keyboard thru my phone headset (not complaining, just commenting on how quickly I type), but nobody seems to hear this one. A flaw in Logitech's web site says there is no software to download for the G815, but you will benefit from their G-Hub software. The G-Hub makes it super simple to control the RGB lighting, assign functions to keys, record & assign macros to the G keys, etc. And I thought of a great use for the G Key macros for work. (I was so happy with the first G815, I bought one for work as well) My company prevents me from storing login information on the PC, including in the browser. But I can record a quick macro for the most frequent login credentials I use & assign each one to a G Key. Voila! Problem solved. Not quite as easy as having your browser remember, but it's only 1 extra click & you'll never mistype that hidden password again. Another great use for the G Keys is to simply assign them frequently used functions like cut, copy, paste, undo, etc. I bet my G15 lasted a decade, maybe more. I'm picky with my keyboards. I dislike the big bulky clicky keys that are far spaces apart. This is a perfect fit for me. The keys are thin and all close together with an almost silent click. I haven't had any issues with it. It looks really sleek and I love that it lights up. I'd purchase it again!
