  • Unbeatable value for your money
Color: Black/Blue Size: 7.2 x 3.2 x 6.8 inches
Get these! Great sound quality (both mic and speakers) and comfortable enough for your long gaming sessions. I’m a pretty extreme cheapskate in that I want to buy something once and never again, this headset lasted SEVEN YEARS. And the only reason I’m replacing it is that the fake leather material is now falling apart and my wife is making me get rid of them, they technically still work perfectly! ... show more

  • Absolute beast.
Color: Black/Blue Size: 7.2 x 3.2 x 6.8 inches
I've had a pair of these headphones since 2020. They've lasted me for a long, long time. I've come back 5 years later to get me another pair, because only recently, the leather ear pads have started to peel off, and the mic got kinda worn out. Of course, these are only cosmetic problems. The mic works excellently, and my friends have even randomly just been like "Wow, how is your voice so clear". It's great. The sound quality is just as good as new. I've put these headphones through the ringer and they still work just fine. So if any of you particularly rage-prone gamers out there get you a pair of these headphones, I'm pretty confident they'll survive an intimate high speed collision with your drywall. In all seriousness though, if you treat them well, I can see 'em lasting years longer than they lasted for me. Along with that, these headphones are a great budget option, especially if you don't like rolling the dice on those unknown Chinese manufacturers that plague Amazon. For $40, I can't think of a better option for a set of gaming headphones. If on the off chance something goes wrong, I'll update this post (doubt I'll need to lol). ... show more

  • Good quality headset and sound but you've got to reduce the bass
Color: Black/Blue Size: 7.2 x 3.2 x 6.8 inches
For someone who has never used anything beyond stereo headphones and speakers, this (even virtualized 7.1) will somewhat recalibrate the way you play games and rejuvenate your enthusiasm for playing some of them. The software is G HUB which works quite well, saves your profiles and is no fuss 'tick' applied. I've had a G700, G700S, G602, G604, G920 and a G923 so I've been using G HUB for years at this point and it's definitely better than it used to be in many ways. The driver stability is solid, not a lot of hiccups. The equalizer is useful. The headphones are sturdy but malleable, decent quality and thoughtful but the earpads, while comfortable, are a little stiff and give me a bit of concern about their longevity. Regardless, they aren't the most comfortable but at the same time do not irritate. The headphones are a little tight but that may change as the headset and pads get worn in. It's right in the middle of comfort where you know your wearing headphones but your ears and head aren't really complaining. Sound quality is decent. The size of the audio drivers create a bias for low frequency and you will most likely want to reduce the bass (a lot). The lowest frequencies register and don't clip or over modulate at medium-high volume which is good. Other than that, the mid range and highs are decent and crisp after a little bit of messing with the equalizer. Not a lot, if any, clipping at medium-high volume. I'd say the audio drivers are decent quality. The surround sound adds a massive amount of immersion to games. It's virtualized, yes, but it's being done pretty well and you can identify where the sound is coming from MULTITUDES of times easier than when using stereo. This is my first surround sound headset... so, I'm amazed and sad that I didn't try these years ago. This is now a must-have for me and I won't be using stereo headphones for gaming (unless it's farmville or something like that). The price is decent atm, pretty much where it should be imo. I got them about 30% cheaper which equates to a meal for one at a restaurant. At that price there's no reason not to skip the night out and try these. Software 8 Quality 8 Sound 7 (turn the bass down) Surround 8 If your loosing a bit of interest in games or getting frustrated and do not have a surround sound headset, try it. ... show more

  • I could not recommend these more
Color: Black/Blue Size: 7.2 x 3.2 x 6.8 inches
I have had these for over two years now and really can't complain about much. I play video games and stream with them and have gotten comments on how nice and clear my mic is. Audio: I think the audio is pretty standard. Not the best you'll ever hear in life but in this price range it's amazing. I've been jump scared a few times not being able to hear someone come up to my desk so the noise cancelling is pretty decent. Mic: I thought that maybe I needed to upgrade my mic but I haven't found anything aside upgrading to an external mic that tops this. I love the flip to mute ability and use it frequently. Comfort: I usually start to feel the tiniest discomfort after about 5-6 hours which is plenty time for me most of the time. I have worn them longer and it's not painful but just a little sore when I take them off. They are on the lighter side and adjust nicely. Longevity: There's some slight wear on the headband part but that just started after all this time and they do rest on a holder in that spot. I did have some issues with sound stopping out of one earphone at one point, I think something became loose and so I just have to keep the volume scroll wheel on the actual headset in a certain spot now but it's not a problem because I never used that to control the volume anyway. It hasn't stopped working in a few months now. I haven't seen anyone else have this issue when it started so could just be a rare occasion and of course eventually they'll need to be replaced. For this price though I'd buy the same ones again and be set for a few more years at least. Comparison: I saw some HyperX Cloud Alpha S on sale and bought them thinking I was getting an upgrade and I was so wrong. The HyperX mic quality was so quiet I thought maybe it was just me but saw others posting online having the same issues. So far I haven't been able to fix it enough and in order to stream and not annoy talking with friends in Discord I'll be returning to using my Logitech headset for the foreseeable future. The HyperX was also much heavier and started to cause discomfort much sooner, maybe about two hours. Overall: Despite some minor issues these headphones have done really well for me and are better than other headsets I've tried that may be similarly priced. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new gaming headset. ... show more
