After trying another webcam with video that looked severely overexposed no matter what I tried, I decided to try this one from Logitec. The video quality is good. There's no software to install - It's worked right out of the box - and I found it works great on my MacBook Air and my Chromebook, too, which was a pleasant surprise. The video from the C505 also looks a little overexposed, but just a little. It'll be great for online meetings. Laptop cameras aren't typically from the most flattering angles, so I'm excited that I'll look better on my Zoom calls from now on. ... show more

I found this a good purchase for my home office Xoom, teams and Skype meetings. The picture quality is better than my laptop and I no longer fiddle to open the laptop, raising the laptop to a better level. It does “rest” on my monitor, with a clip that help grab the monitor, but could be knocked off. I wound the cord to eliminate it getting knocked. The microphone is also good. I had the earlier version of this and the camera stopped working permanently after a year and a half. So I bought the updated one, but it still had the same problem that sometimes if left plugged in (but not in use) for too long the camera would cut out temporarily. The main difference I noticed with this one initially was that the camera has a longer focal length, so located at the same distance shows your face closer up.
