Good product, still holding the light objects on the wall that i used it for. I've read much feedback on tacky products like this one, and many customers complain that some products leave an oily residue on the wall when removed...or discolored area on wall where the tacky product was. I believe there may be products out there that do that, I haven't found that to be true with this one yet, and it's been over 6 months in use. I mention this because, as a side note, there is something you can do to help prevent oily residue from forming on the surface of whatever you stick this product to. Try using rubber gloves. I realized that oil from my fingers will come in direct contact with the tacky puddy and then it will go on the wall...transferring the oil onto the wall eventually. I used surgical gloves when i affixed the tack on the walls and I haven't had an issue yet. If, later on, there is still oily residue on the wall when i remove one, i'll update this feedback post. In the meantime, try rubber gloves when handling this product. ... show more

Pretty good product! I needed an alternative to the Command type strips, and am happy I tried this. It adheres really well to my plaster walls and hold a decent amount of weight (probably around 1 pound worth). I used it to mount mini canvases, some loose fabric art peices, and these wooden card holders. It grips well and comes up easily within the first day or two, so it is easy to work with for repositioning things. Little bits may stay behind after the putty has been used for awhile though, but these come off easily with some effort. The putty does leave behind a smallish oilly stain, but a remover works for that (just like the package said). ... show more

So far we haven't noticed any stars falling from the ceiling. I also use the putty to stick the kids paintings/artwork from school on the walls, no peeling of paint when I change them out.

Definitely happy with the product. Just started using it so it’s hard to give a full review but it did hold the papers up in my classroom on various services which is what I’m looking for. When it came off I did not see stain. I would definitely keep it in a resealable bag so it doesn’t lose its stickiness… Tends to dry out if exposed to air. I have used sticky tak before, but I was skeptical about using it to hang up my tapestry. But it worked! I've had it up for over a month now, and its held up so well. There is some residue left on the wall but it comes off if you reapply the sticky tak and pull it off.
