Love this tent. Bought in May of 2024 so i could prep it and get used to setup. Bought a cheaper stainless woodstove, made some mods to seal it up and put a second wall/side/bottom with ceramic insulation in between. No tent can really handle a leaky stove! Have used it mid winter in northern Mi. Near manistees. Properly set up I had no problems with strong wind and driving snow. Accumulation shook off nicely in the morning. Seal your seems and waterproof O. Good construction EXCEPT... the small black pieces that hold the inner sleeping tent are suspended from the outer- tent with very weak loop and stitching. Ive had 2 go on me one on first trip with tent in boundary waters. No fun. Also would be nice with something to hang a light,speaker etc from inside the 2nd tent. Could have a tiny mesh loft you could put a screen on facing the sleeper. All in all Ive had 8 or so long trips with it and i love it. Getting a bit too old for that low of a ceiling though. Would be really awesome if you have electric and a diesel heater. You could vent into the stove area but nothing beats a real fire in a tent that keeps the wind out and the heat in! ... show more

1/18/24 my boyfriend and i wanted to start camping and decided we couldn’t wait until spring/summer. we looked into hot tents and saw how crazy the prices could get…and since we’ve never done it before and had tons of other materials we needed to purchase as well (around $1000 in other gear) we wanted to go on the cheaper side. keep in mind, QUALITY is important especially for winter camping. it can be much more dangerous in the cold if you are unprepared. with that being said, THIS TENT IS AWESOME! we purposely set it up when weather conditions were rough to really put it to the test. with both of us combined it was set up in less than 10 minutes, and for newbies that is pretty good if i do say so myself. it is a learning experience, but everything is fairly simple and there are youtube videos with this type of tent that really help if you seem to be struggling. the night we set it up it was incredibly cold and windy. it lasted all night and all day the next day. the spikes and wind ropes really help secure the tent in place and once it’s fully set up, the inside is almost completely wind proof. if you are solo camping and this is your first tent…it could be a bit more difficult to set up because there are a lot of very SPECIFIC things you need to focus on with this tent including ventilation. if you are using a hot stove (which my boyfriend and i did) ventilation will be a huge factor. luckily this tent has multiple vents including one right next to your head when sleeping, so you don’t have to worry about suffocating from carbon monoxide. i do suggest getting a portable carbon monoxide detector just incase bc safety comes first. you can get some here on amazon for less than $30. there are two doors for this tent and they are located right next to the stove area so if smoke becomes and issue, you can easily let it out and re-close. the material of the tent feels exceptional for the price we paid. durable and tough, yet still light and easy to roll back up when done. the tent is on the shorter side so standing isn’t an option, but the length is perfect and it’s very spacious in the stove area. i honestly have nothing bad to say about this tent. i am extremely happy with it and i will do a future update in a few months or years (whenever the time is right) ... show more

The tent is decent quality. Mine showed up with one of the stake strap missing the loop on it. Not a big deal I could have a loop sewn in, but I just bought this and expected it to be 100%. I contacted pomoly and the first email said it wasn’t supposed to have one even though it does on the other side of the tent. Then they sent me another email just telling me to pull the strap through and make a loop. This would kind of work but you would not be able to pull the strap tight and tension things up. All I was requesting was a new strap with the loop sent to me and they keep trying to avoid doing the right thing. That is the reason for a 3 star. ... show more

Pros: Tent is vary well constructed I put a queen sized air mattress and it fit, barely! Vary vary warm with a stove. Lots of room for what it is! Cons: I am 6 feet tall, so basically walking around on my knees. The interior tents roof hangs low so kinda annoying. You can set it up without tons of ground steaks that's ok I get it but if I were on a area I could not break ground on it would be useless. Wow...this thing is great. Lightweight, warm, and great design. I've been backpacking for years and this tent is a must. I pack a compact wood stove that fits perfectly in this tent and its warm on a cold night, I couldn't be happier.
