It's important to know these are not for security, they're for disabling something like equipment when people are working on it or it's not supposed to be on. That said these work perfectly for me to use on remote storage sheds that don't have anything important in them but I don't want people just walking into and taking stuff. Best of all I can use the exact same key on all of the sheds so I give out one of those keys to whoever needs to get into the sheds. You get five keys, one for each lock, so I've got four spares to lend around. The locks are a candy apple bright metallic red so they're not only very cool looking they're easy to see when they sparkle from my flashlight. These are a simple, cheap way to lock up stuff that's not really needing high security but you want to keep safe-ish.

I need locks for many things and on many occasions but my problem is I always mixed up the keys of different locks (after use and I put them away for a while) and couldn't find the proper keys (I now have dozens of locks and hundreds of keys) when I need to. First, these locks are built tough, very heavy and sturdy, stronger than most locks I have but the main reason I order these is that they are keyed alike, so I now have 5 locks with 10 keys that can open them all. No more searching for the right key, any of the 10 keys can open any of the 5 locks. Bonus, these are really heavy duty and built tough locks. Highly recommend.

I got these locks to go on my fence. I have a front gate and a back gate. It seems like every lock set I get doesn't last as the weather damage the locks over time. These locks didn't mention weather proof but did say it was heavy and sturdy. I assume that means they will be stable enough to last over time in the winter with rain and harsh weather. It comes with 5 locks and a total of 10 keys which will fit all the locks. They are individually packaged for safe keeping and the key can't be removed from the lock unless the lock is close. That way you don't forget your key in the lock. I do like the locks and hopefully they last long in the winter months. If not since I am only using 2 at a time then I'll use the others for backup.

These locks seem to work quite well, The keys are a little sticky. probably some oil would fix that. I don't really like that the body is plastic. but I know dome polymers can be really tough. So they may well be as strong as a steel body lock. Of course, these kind of locks are meant to keep honest people from stealing your stuff, if a serious burglar wants it, it probably doesn't matter what kind of lock you have.. Their cost is about $4.00 each, which seems a little high for buying in bulk, but the keying is probably harder to pick than the old fashioned keys, which should make them more secure and hard to open. Overall I recommend these, and think they are a good buy.

I didn't realize when I got these that the same key works on all the locks. It's a great feature. The key does need to stay in the lock for the lock to be opened. If the lock is shut, then the key can come out. The locks are very smooth and well-labeled.

These locks are okay quality for lockers and tool boxes and the like. Aluminum body with a steel shackle, but not particularly strong. They are guttable and should be rekeyable, but since they are keyed and labeled alike they won't be good for lock-out-tag-out. The spring is on the core itself instead of the padlock body, so it might be a hassle to take off and put back on if you do chose to gut or rekey these. They use ball bearings for the shackle, so it can't be shimmed. The actuator is a slot, which should prevent a bypass. They are 6 pins, but I don't feel any security pins in there. They just pick a little sloppy like the manufacturing tolerances were not the best. For some every-day low security padlock, these should do okay.
